  1. This is for all the EMBARRASSING united fans who are still celebrating their 0-0 "win" at anfield by playing like stoke, absolutely embarrassing how low united have fallen that they celebrate draws in which they had 32% possessions and conceded 34 shots as if they won a cup final.

  2. They were very poor because ETH knew his job was at risk, he played 3 defensive minded midfielders and often times had a back line consisting of 7/8 players, ETH didn’t play to win, he played not to get trounced as he would do if he did try play for the win.

  3. Nonsense. United got absolutely battered by Liverpool last season, they went into the game on a bad run of form whilst Liverpool are flying, and Ten Hag's job is hanging by a thread. A point is a great result for them, regardless of the performance.

  4. I agree. United couldn't put 3-4 passes together and were constantly losing the ball. It's not as if they had everybody behind the ball, they still tried to move the ball up the pitch when they had it, but they'd just lose it again in about 5 seconds.
It's just that they weren't getting caught in out of position because they never had the ball for long enough to mount a proper attack..

  5. It's fine how do you play, result is important, with those long list of injuries a point is worth winning, if they lost situation could have been worse and people will be more critical.

  6. Do you expect any less? Got Antony on the wing who is awful offensively and can’t create cross/shoot you name it. Amrabat is completely out of his depth. Positives Mainoo and Varanes return to the lineup return to form

  7. If they would have lost then it would be negative, if they draw its negative. If they won they would say Liverpool had a off day. I agree the performance was not great but need to give them credit for not conceding.

  8. Really poor yet got battered at home 3-0 by Bournemouth? 0-0 at Anfield is a good result for any team in the league, Liverpool we’re off it and shockingly bad it’s as simple as that

  9. Thought it was a decent performance to be honest, the quality wasn't brilliant but everyone made an effort for once. To sum up, I saw Antony making at least 2 tackles.

  10. I don’t think it’s right to say that united were poor outright. If you look at it from a head to head perspective United we’re dominated but from a defending point of view we weren’t trying to win that game – we just did damage control very well

  11. First team to take points off Liverpool at Anfield this season, so credit for that and the defensive resilience shown, but they got lucky (should have lost).

Gary is just saying he wants more – Mourinho’s Man Utd did the same game plan a few years ago and he got slated for it.
