Florio likes nothing better than the sound of his own voice, droning on without knowing any of the real facts, any decent judge would ask; '' is there a point to this?'' Not really about the settlement. He went through discovery. We know a lot about his situation now. You can make your judgment on that.
Florio provides, the average NFL fan, a window into how court proceedings start, move forward, etc. His ability to tie high brow novelties to common threads the masses can understand, is the reason he is so loved.
Every analyst gets plenty of things wrong about how the football season will go, how a player will develop, what said players will develop into, etc. but his legal analysis is unmatched in the world of NFL lawsuits.
There are a wealth of other use-to-be agents that could jump into this market, but until that day, Florio will reign supreme.

If Watson would have settled over a year ago as Florio suggests how many millions in legal fees would Watson's attorneys have lost. Of course the attorneys aren't going to want to settle, they're losing money by settling.
