  1. Our Owner is clueless keeping the GM hopefully he is fired sooner than later. The guy literally kill teams. Leftwich I could see as an OC but wouldn't want to be the proven ground to see if he can do it or not. I'll pass on that Experiment. The staff that has been hired is probably the best we have had since the early days. Hopefully this staff has the control of the ingredients and not the clueless owner and his son.

  2. It doesn't seem good that we're now talking about someone having to take an L and hire a black coach that they don't like as much as someone else just to appease the media. Give it time. Plenty of black coaches have been successful in the NFL because they got their jobs on merit. It will continue to happen that way. There's no reason to flip out and try to force people into jobs they aren't a fit for.

  3. Guy has a superbowl title riight? What's the issue? Isi t his fault Carson Wentz is a loser? He won that suoerbowl with nick freaking foles…stop spinning affirmative action as a reason to NOT hire qualified WHiTE coaches….btw who thought Leftwich was a head coach before brady turned his turnover machine offense into a juggernaut? No one…

  4. He might be right re the NFL, but it's not a team's job to fix a PR problem for the league. This is a good pick, a safe pick, which is what that team needs right now.

  5. So Brian Flores is dictating hiring now? He was a linebackers coach who was lucky to get the Miami job at all. Now teams are supposed to hire him while he's accusing the owners of being racist? Uh, no. You made your bed, go lie in it.

  6. I am sorry but if you hire someone just because of colour, gender etc just to make up the numbers, your product is quickly gonna go down hill.
These teams have a list of wants, needs, requirements etc and hire the best candidate most likely to deliver the optimum service!!!!

  7. Peterson was a qb he won a super bowl players like him he knows how to turn a football team around he is the right person for the jags to change the culture of the team he got a franchise QB in Trevor Lawrence I think think Peterson will do it the right way

  8. Man blacks have so much to overcome and it's not even funny. Theres way too many white faces in high places and it's a secret racist system. Shits so obvious at this point.

  9. What in the world is the matter with this Peter guy ? Who cares how many black coaches are in the NFL ? Skin color is not a qualification. Just because a coach is black, white or multi-colored, doesn't make him qualified for the job. A PERSON'S SKIN COLOR DOES NOT QUALIFYING THAT PERSON FOR ANYTHING. Doesn't matter what color. Only the extent of your talent and expertise in any occupation should get you a job.

  10. Hes a good hire. Sad when winning isn’t enough just unfortunate for him its the Jags. Glad he stood by what he thought was best for his team and for the most part looks like he was right.

Leftwich is better off not being tied to the Jags and their constant mess. I think he will be a great leader. But you need a good GM to show those skills.
