  1. hey Florio… what's the deal if watching tells the NFL that he wants to just remain silent? how would they handle that? he's not under obligation through contract to answer questions to the NFL is he? certainly if he can remain silent under the law of America he can remain silent when talking to the NFL or not talking I should say, yes? not saying that this would be a smart move necessarily but just curious what that looks like.

  2. The victims have no responsibility to talk to the league. They are not taking the league to court, they are taking an individual. So they don’t need to be cordial to the nfl

  3. Ben got 6 games for settling with one woman. The other dropped it and it never went to court. Not sure if the settling matters or if it’s being accused that matters. But 20 women is a lot.

  4. I hope dw gets a 5 or 6 game suspension per the limp wristed NFL policy. Then I hope Baker decides to play and blows out every team he faces. Then I hope he gets traded to another team just as dw is supposed to return. THEN i hope the night before dw's first return game he gets arrested and ends up in prison where he belongs and then the browns go on a 0 and 32 stretch. That's what each actor in this skit deserves. The only thing that would make this perfect is if somehow the browns had to pay the $230 million to dw while he's in prison and the state takes the money just because. Oh, to dream.

  5. Two grand juries, state police investigation and no criminal charges. Football players go through civil suits all the time during seasons. It's time for everyone to move on now.

  6. The "protecting the shield" argument loses all credibility when there are WTF and Dallas organizational scandals that are getting swept under the rug by the league.

  7. We talk of this in terms of "the Browns", but this was all Haslam, who's a complete meddling doofus. The other teams HATE the Watson contract, and yes, MLB's recent ruling will be seen as a precedent of some sort. I'm guessing that Watson gets suspended for the full season – less than that there will be a huge public outcry and we'll have a Ray Rice-esque reversal by Goodell – who is only doing what the owners tell him, anyway.

  8. Not fair to Deshaun? Lol. Need to figure out what you need to ask him before you ask him questions. Don't waste your time. "I didn't do anything wrong." Whatever

  9. NFL taking their time because they don’t want to give him a harsh punishment. Everyone is already on their back over accusations of widespread RaCiSm and they know it could backfire in the case of Watson being harshly punished without being guilty. They’re gonna be easy on him, unfairly Easy

  10. This whole “the owners are mad at the browns” thing is such lazy horrible reporting. You have maybe 4-5 owners AT MOST that would be frustrated. More than half the league doesn’t even have a franchise QB to over pay what would they be mad about? Like are the Seahawks mad that they would have to pay a qb a fully guaranteed contract when they don’t even have a QB to pay??? Like come on lol

  11. Baker is the winner here; He gets to play and showcase minimal skills while DW goes down the rabbit hole. Cleveland is the big loser, but nothing new about that. DW is all good but the Browns get to "Brown Out"once again…What a curse. 9-8 record…Bank it
