  1. it's how he wants them to play – own there on spaces and with some more talent and youngert legs in midfield, it will work and better defending – but the main issue isnt how they paly – it is as ETH said – they were winning all 3 games and game management is a major issue especially at Brentford and Chelsea – then AWB doing stupid tackels – this needs to change.

  2. All three games this year could easily have been massive wins 6 or 7 goals. Fluke or not that it wasn’t, does not worry me. Next year like last year could be totally different. Sad thing is we dropped 4 points against a really poor team and those points would have been enough to win the league this year. Our own fault

  3. Gary, if it's so easy to get a style of play out of this team will you be volunteering to manage Man United once INEOS sacks ETH? I am sure that you could turn it around within 18 months!

  4. Absolute disgraceful behaviour by Gary Neville. It was putrid listening to through the whole match. The way in which he tried to manipulate a negative bias about EtH was shameful. Utd average injuries per season @ 25 for last 20 years BUT THIS YEAR WE'VE HAD OVER 60.

  5. This theory that Nunez is the only inefficient one is such rubbish. Salah is very inefficient as well. He scores 1 in 6 chances, it’s just the gegenpress gets him so many chances

  6. City win the league before the last game of the season no way arsenal or Liverpool get through there run ins without dropping points City will win every game 💙 double treble incoming….. 🏆🏆🏆

  7. Why do they keep talking about City's perfection and consistency? City have literally not picked up points as consistently as Liverpool or Arsenal so far. Statistically, Man City are more likely to drop points than the other two. It's literally fact, black and white.

  8. Man Utd have obviously got some kind of resilience about them and their quality got them out of trouble today.

I just wonder about Steve McClaren’s influence as a coach there as they do remind me of England when they didn’t qualify for Euro 2008, Middlesborough on their crazy run in Europe and Newcastle when they last got relegated.

As for Liverpool, maybe their wasteful finishing is just typical of good players who’ve not really been in a title race for a while (Salah), or ever (Nunez, Diaz).

Grealish back for Man City is very important, they look much better with him in the team. They’re still conceding too many goals this year though, and I still think their slightly inferior goal difference and overabundance of draws can be traced back to the departures of Mahrez and Gundogan who were two extremely special and very seasoned players for them.
