  1. United have had no left back since january..why didnt ETH sign one instead of playing our right backs out of postion..cost us against chelsea and today against liverpool…managers not got a clue lmfao

  2. I find it unbelievable how United's injuries aren't mentioned in any of these discussions. Martinez, Shaw, Casemiro, AWB, Mainoo, and Hojlund were all injured for large parts of this season. Johnny Evans has had to play far more games than you'd expect a 6th choice CB to play. How can you expect consistency/progression when the team that is being put out every week is never the same? When Spurs lost a couple players it was all they spoke about. Liverpool had a few CB injuries a couple years ago and it was this huge crisis. Whereas United don't get given any leeway. It's clear media bias. DO BETTER.

  3. United just gets the clicks (and I'm a fan). They are punching above their weight in 6th. If it was a promoted side or a perennial bottom half team, everybody would want their manager and coaching staff (which is really the way the likes of Poch and Potter climbed the ladder from lower position teams but not been able to do it at the top ones).

ETH can't get much more out of this playing group, and for once I disagree with Roy – ETH has a right to happy with this clam of a team to get a draw with the much superior scousers (they should have pounded us!).

BTW, if Klopp had finished as low with Man U as he did with Liverpool last year, he would have been sacked – is there a different set of standards at Anfield? Bellies belief that Klopp is spoken in the same breath as Pep – night and day, 1 prem in over thirty years!

  4. Not even a united fan but united players always get abused and criticised unnecessarily.
They almost won against a title contender. They did well. Just let those guys enjoy. Imagine you have done so much only to get criticism. Thats where motivation starts fading.

  5. I'm a Liverpool fan. One thing I will say about United is that when the youngsters come on, they seem to have that fire that the senior team are missing.
That young CB today showed some real passion. For me, that's all that we need as fans to get behind them. It was the same with conor bradley when he broke through, he showed that bite and fire needed against City, and that's what we need to see as fans. Of course the tactical side evolves after that but ETH seems to be lacking there. Was he just good at Ajax because they had the best players in the league when he took over? Possibly. The philosophy there certainly didn't need building. Is he capable of turning united around? I'm not sure.

For me, just from what I've seen this season, as well as United players looking clueless as to what they're doing tactically.. they've looked totally devoid of fight. (Exception being the Liverpool games where they should have been buried anyway).

The season is over. For me, they'd be as well playing the youngster's who at least have some passion and play for the badge. See who rises out of them for next season.

  6. United have lost 12 PL games, goal difference of -1 and 4th place in CL group stage. The worst players of the season start every match. ETH needs to be sacked, too much of an imposter.

  7. Are Maguire, Lindelof, Evans, quick CBs to cover the oppositions runs in behind not to mention the absences of Martinez, Shaw, Malacia, Bissaka.
Hence the reason a big gap in the midfield. Ten hag Cant play high press with these defenders, so the logical thing to do for the defenders is to stay back and guard the runs. And you cannot attack with just 4 players upfront these days you need the midfield joining in to build up play. Hence these gaps. If he gets the players he wants this summer and clears out some deadwood then we can better judge Ten hag style of play etc.

  8. We need a defense that can hold their own and midfielders that can dictate tempo like Mainoo. He's too young to depend on now, an actual CDM like Rodri or Rice who can win the ball back and stop people taking shots. Im sure in the last 5 games theres been 100+ shots taken against us 💀

  9. Just like in the game against Chelsea, Man Utd was leading and Erik Ten Hag decided to replace Garnacho. Then the opponent manager realized that there would be no real risks of counter-attacks anymore from Man Utd and decided to increase the offensive line and the pressure. Naturally, the equalized came soon after Garnacho left the pitch in both matches. Man Utd needs urgently a replacement for Dalot during the matches, specially late in the second half when he shows to be unable to follow fast wingers of opponent teams.

  10. I worry about the state of the punditry and the media as a whole over the last few years, this year especially. Yes, United has been very poor this season but not one pundit have addressed why properly. Carra was close but still off the mark. Ten Hag's system is high press, where all the team push up the field. THIS United side cannot fully play that, you have maguire who is very vulnerable facing his goal, sluggish mobility, Lindelof the same. So they have to play further back, that opens the midfield up. Also we have Rashford who just does not press. So we have a side where 3 or 4 players cannot play the system. If United bought 2 mobile Central defenders and a mobile defensive mid then you would see a better Ten Hag side. Unfortunately i don't believe Ten Hag will be there to change it.

  11. 6 th in the table , FA Cup Semi Final all the injuries , introduction of younger players , no new transfers , getting players on loan ,
new owners talking a lot and not much happening , no real stability , the Sancho mess , the Greenwood problem , the Ronaldo hangover , de Gea leaving and so on and on …………………………6th place and FA Cup Semi Final is a minor miracle . Spiking the Pools guns has been good .
