1. Says a guy who never scored even 5 goals a season. Playing as a striker is not a joke. It’s not like he doesn’t know how to play. As a stricter even before the ball gets to you you’re already surrounded, you don’t get direct passes since you are already marked , the ball is played to you indirectly, you gotta attack it or control it , and when you attack it you gotta redirect it to beat a well trained goalkeeper. You are mostly running the whole game waiting for that one chance to come if it’s in 20 minutes 30 minutes or sometimes the whole game , 90 minutes of running and taking spaces and positioning.

11. OK, read all the comments so far and it seems like Haaland even though he's scored 80 goals in the last 2 seasons is rubbish.

14. Hes still top goalscorer in the league and hes missed 12 games this season. His game is about occupying defenders and scoring.

15. The problem with Haaland is he offers nothing but goals.
    When the goals are flying in that's fine but he's been completely anonymous home and away against Arsenal this season.
    Compare that with someone like Gabriel Jesus, sure he doesn't convert chances at the rate of Haaland (although Haaland's underachieving compared to his xg this season) but Jesus can affect the game without scoring goals. When Haaland has an off day he's a £400k a week Patrick Bamford.

16. Haaland's criticism is TOO harsh. City have experienced a loss of critical mass in the mid-field with Gundo departure and others (i.e. with no real replacements for likes of Gondoghan, David Silva, Fernandinho) so that there is no clear playmaker. Rodri? to some extent only. This (not a tip-top mid-field) also makes Haaland useless since the guy does not get any service. Therefore, the blame is not on him. true he missed few good chances, but this happens to anybody. The guy is not built to be good with intricate passing, movement within tight spaces. neither he has been brought in to produce those.

23. Fget Big H*; apart from Kdb an Rodri, nearly all of Cheatys current crop perfectly fit into this category cos the real best/quality players hav long since departed(Kompany, Aguero, Yaya, Gundo, David Silva etc).
    Never mind; hopefully they'll b playing in Lge 2 pretty soon, so Big H* dan co' will fit right in….
