  1. Here's the deal…
Liverpool will win tomorrow and probably the PL
City will win the Champions League
and Arsenal will drop the ball between now and then

No diss, but this is how it works!
    Klopp deserves it
    CL means more to Pep
and Arteta will whine that something wasn't fair and blah blah blah

    Period end of story

  2. I'm a Liverpool fan of 35+ years. If we had a fully fit squad to choose from including a strong bench then I'd say us to win on Sunday for sure. As it is, with Alison, TAA, Jones, Jota, Gravenbarch and others out, our first 11 will be decent but the bench will be the young guns. Yes the young ones have done well beating Chelsea and getting us through the FA Cup but this is against, arguably the best team in European football and one could say in the world. They're bench is frightening never mind the first 11.

But, if anyone can beat them then it's us. Klopp has the edge over Pep in terms of head to head wins. Anfield will be a cauldron of noise, it needs to be. The whole stadium needs to be rocking from beginning to end. It cannot be quiet. It needs to look at the days gone by of when the stadium noise struck fear in to the opposition. The 12th man is needed.

If we do win on Sunday then I think it'll drive us on to the league.

We do have tricky away games against UTD, Villa and West Ham but I believe beating City will give us the drive we need. Plus, I don't think we have a tricky league game until after the international break. We will have more players back from injury after the international break.

We cannot afford to draw. We need to win. Arsenal will be top Saturday evening. A draw for us on Sunday will take us level with them but they've a better goal difference. We need to win!!!!!

  3. Personally think City will get a result at our place – albeit I think it's Arsenal's season. Micah saying it's a credit to City they are challenging on three fronts? They were/are the best team in the world! Liverpool had an awful season last year, have a new team – with a stack of injuries – and are top of the table with 11 games to go and are going for three trophies, having already won one!!

  4. It's Liverpool that must be sweating at this point in time with massive teams like City & Arsenal breathing down their necks with literally one point separating all of them from one another.

  5. I think its going to be tough to beat Manchester City with the current run of form that they are enjoying. My prediction come end of the season , Man City the premier league champions, Liverpool runners up at 2nd place and Arsenal close at 3rd place

  6. We don't have to. Draw with them and win our remaining games and we're done.
We're more than capable of that. We equalled the longest winning streak twice, remember? 18 Games won on the trot- TWICE, within the last 5 years!
City isn't that scary when you're Liverpool and you just keep finding a way to win.
Anyway, City still have tough games, Liverpool not so much. Arsenal also don't have as many tough games left.
