  1. To all the Moyes haters… Undertsand this… And it's factual and statistical, not an opinion. Moyes is the most successful manager of West ham in the last 30 yrs.. 6th and 7th epl finishes, currently 8th, European football 3 yrs in a row. A trophy for God's sake… This season alone, we've beaten spurs, Chelsea, aresnal and man u… Round of 16 in Europa League. This guy has done an incredible job and the Moyes haters need to get real … Where were west ham before he came.. a yo yo club. These same fans who want Moyes out forget the days of relegation battles, bouncing up and down from the championship. He gave us fans the greatest night in our footballing lives last season. Now everybody plays that down. When mourinho won that same competition, he was lauded and tears were shed in Rome. Moyes will see out his contract and beware , see if a new manager can get us 3 yrs European football. Most fickle and ungrateful fan base ever. His net spend is 240m in 4 yrs … Thats 60 m a year… To put that in perspective, enzo fernandez , caicedo and mudryk combined cost 270m

  2. The man won them a European trophy and they're currently fighting for another European spot I don't understand what more West Ham fans can expect. Stop acting like a top 4 team because you're just not.

  3. When fans get the idea that anything comes before results and a club responds to it the club is on the edge. Football is a results business.

I you have results coming you can afford to experiment, but results come first.

Famous clubs who parted with their manager for style.

    Newcastle, Big Sam Result Relegated.
    Blackburn Big Sam Result: Relegated
    Charlton Curbishley Result Relegated.
    Stoke Tony Pullis Result Relegated.

This is not an advert for pragmatic football, just a recognition that combining results and style takes time and results come first.

When Sam was given time at Bolton he took them into Europe. He also attracted some wonderful players. JJ Okotcha, Nicholas Anelka,

If the results are good the players will follow. That is how you build a club. When Paqueta and Kudus came to west ham, they did not come for the style, they came to play in a winning team and they would provide the style. Most young fans think you build a club by spending lots more money than your rivals.

If you don't have that money you do it one step at a time, results come first.

  4. to win 1st trophy in 40 odds years. He should have a statue if anything. This guy saved west ham from relegation twice. Fans these days are ungrateful

  5. The comments here from non west ham fans just proves the point that unless you watch them every week or your club is in the same situation, you really don't understand

  6. This is harsh analysis, what right does Jamie Carragher have to call for Motes to get sacked, trigger happy fans I get it, but these are careless words for a genuine pundit in the game

  7. Reminds me of Spurs.
George Graham won them the League Cup, but it wasn't good enough due to the style of play "not being the Tottenham way".
    Spurs won nothing since.

Everton fans wanted Moyes out after losing the FA Cup semi final to Liverpool – he went to Man Utd shortly after & in the years after Everton slowly worked there way down from competing for Europe every year, and back to where Moyes found them – fighting relegation every year and on the edge of being ruined by poor financial planning.

Or first time he was at West Ham, when they thought they could do better & had to come crawling back when no other manager could get them out of relegation fights and up the league table on their kind of budget.

Be careful what you wish for West Ham fans, not many managers out there can offer the kind of stability Moyes can. Before you force him out, you need a good replacement lined up. There needs to be a proper plan, not knee jerk nostalgia for a time you've never known.

There's not many manager's around you can point to and say with confidence "he could take West Ham forward".

  8. When did the everyday football fan start valuing style over substance? I don't even find west hams football that bad. Watching 5 millions tika taka sideways passes for me is less appealing but regardless of style, I'd rather watch my team win dull than lose with style. I think footballs gone mad with this flawed obsession with playing style.

  9. Hope he goes and WH get relegated…..the West Ham way 😂😂😂……that is the WH way just avoiding relegation. Moyes is a class act he don't need to be disrespected like this.

  10. Not a massive fan of stats. But for a manger, I take more notice of stats. Motes clearly has done a great job. But it’s time for him to leave. When the fans turn on you, it’s time to go. Leave with his head held high on those stats lad

  11. West ham fans you can want Moyes gone fine, but remember your club will NEVER EVER come even close yet alone win a PLtitle now and for the next 50-100 years. Also your fabase has never seen the club play in the european cup/UCL since its existence. So therefore the fact that you r nowhere near relegation in the pl currently and are still in europa league along with the addition that you guys boast about winning a third tier european trophy last season you should be grateful and happy simply becos its never going to get any better for your team.

  12. West Ham had no chance of winning 3 out of the 8 matches. The other 5 matches. They should have had at least 1 win out of the 5. In the next match, West Ham have to win. Otherwise, they must understand the boss's job and transfer are coming to replace them. This summer.
