  1. First of all he struggled in the Premier league and if he was doing well in German he wouldn’t be allowed to go on loan.

Spurs have just wasted their money. . .again!!!

  2. Werner won't get you 20+ goals per season, but the runs he makes behind lines will be so effective under Ange and it will allow others to score more. I think it's a good signing.

  3. The issue with Timo Werner failing at Chelsea was their expectations for Werner's goal totals based solely on his recent goal totals at Leipzig.

The key for me here is there's no issue with Timo's work rate, so he fits the model of character Ange seeks, nor his speed which is required in Ange's system. This is not a Tanguy N'dombele situation of a player who can't be bothered with doing the work, and offloading Spence – who may be far better off in Serie A and who seems to need a wake-up call, is actually a bonus.

Granted, Ange got more than a look at Werner at his best and may still be smarting from what Timo did to Celtic in the CL, but a loan spell with an option to buy gives Ange (who hardly waivers about anything) more than enough time to assess whether he wants him.

As Ange has said before, you cannot buy the best 24 players in the world and mold them into a team. Werner could be great for Spurs or score little more than Richarlison. Timo might start or fit in well as a member of the "depth squad" and "lack of depth" has been Spurs' Achilles Heel for decades. Time will tell.

  4. Sky Sports: Hello from America! PL/Spurs/Sonny supporter! ⭐🇰🇷7️⃣⚽️ Can you please include the names of your presenters in your videos? Who is the presenter who walked over to the screen who knew how to properly say Kim Min-Jae's name (Kim, surname first)? Appreciated it! 🙋🏻‍♀️🇺🇸👏⭐🇰🇷⚽️

  5. Saying 2 goals in 14 apps is a bit disingenuous. He's played 300 minutes of football this season because of a previous injury and then getting injured again. He's scored twice in the league, in 200 minutes of football.
