Newcastle were well geared up for this one and didn’t even have to shift into second gear. Sunderland bottled it! Also if you go 3-0 down in a derby and don’t get a man sent off then those players on that pitch in red and white don’t know the meaning of this rivalry. Sad really but tempers need to flare up in these kind of games man.

Glad Newcastle won and Eddie got the win, it’s madness how eddies job was up for discussion. Under Ashley era we were relegation candidates every year, we punched last season and are still sitting in the top 10 was always going to be hard to replicate last season, injuries and amount of games has taking its toll, hopefully get some signings in this window.
As a Newcastle fan I'm glad that we won. But I want Sunderland to be promoted back to the Prem so the rivalry can continue. This is most likely the only derby that Newcastle and Sunderland will get in a few years. So howay the lads but Sunderland pls get promoted.
