  1. This is hilarious, two ex Man U, one ex Arsenal and one ex Liverpool, crying about clubs having power? Before Chelsea broke the Premier League Cartel those three clubs ran English football, they brought about the Premier league and cut the EFL adrift. Gary and his mates are complete hypocrites!

  2. Gary, the font of all knowledge! So, under his proposal (a la EFL 2) Newcastle (or City or whoever) submit a business plan with incoming transfers of £1 Billion, they are say 900m short in profits, so the owner writes a cheque of £900m and all is good? Give you head a wobble Gary. please!

  3. I dont know why they are waiting to gather all evidence regarding 100+ charges to start trial against city. They should start examinining every case separately and give them 10 points deductions for each charge in the next several years. This is the only way to coerce them into cooperation.

  4. To be fair Man City have charges pending they aren't found innocent yet so can we stop whinging.

Next year this time there might be an outcome of guilty and point deductions, but for now we have a presumption of innocent until proven guilty.

    Same with Chelsea.

  5. It's a beautiful thing when you hear that Wrighty is a regular dinner guest at Roy Keane's house. This is the great beauty of football that 2 fierce rivals have such a cool friendship proves that even with all the intense tribalism that we see intensified even more these days, the nasty behaviour of modern rival fans towards each other, in the end, after the games are over, we need to treasure the camaraderie and friendships that football brings

  6. Everton getting 10 points deducted better just be a start of how the FA police these situations, if it stops here and the likes of City & Chelsea get away with proverbial slaps on the wrist then this league isn’t worth watching anymore and the super league might as well happen.

Also it sorta feels like Gary is being purposely naive, the big 6 were only fined 22mil because the FA know the league needs the big 6 teams for revenue, take them away and the league becomes next to nothing. No offence to the fans of the smaller teams but the powers that be aren’t going to bank on the likes of Brighton or Villa to draw international viewership or hefty fees from selling broadcasting rights, this is why im very much doubtful that the FA will actually go after the likes of City and Chelsea with similar conviction to how they punished Everton.

  7. hahah these two are a joke. Liverpool goalie Grobbler took bribes to throw game and nothing happened, Man utd are billions in debt and continue to sign players yet nothing happens. Jog on. City are guilty of nothing.

  8. Football has historic rivalries but this show really does prove that the game rises above rivalries. Big players (except carra as i am a united fan 😅) from big rivals but they prove that they're football people above everything else and really care about the game. Entertaining and informative.

  9. If the Government get involved in football, the game will truly be dead as they will allow all clubs to become state run and given carte blanche to do/spend what they like.

A high ranking politician/Government official had a meeting with those running the Premier League to make sure that the Saudi acquisition of Newcastle United would be approved. There have already been discussions between the Government and the UAE in regards to Man City and the 115 charges brought against them. As a result of these vested interests nobody should be surprised if Man City either get found not guilty of most of, if not all of those charges, and/or they get a gentle slap on the wrist.

  10. Football fans cannot be absolved of blame in the finances of their clubs, they along with the board are complicit in the financial state of the club. Fans constantly call for their clubs to spend rather than allow the teams to organically grow.
