  1. Henry, Shearer, Rooney – are the best, they spent enough time in the league to show it, Kane closely follows. Best individual season by a striker is Suarez though and he was banned for 5 games hah

  2. sorry but 1st is a tie for Bergkamp and Shearer, both had massive injury's through the years and still were pure world class in their roles. second is hands down Henry lightening speed, unreal technique, the way he could curve a ball beautiful. 3rd Kane/Rooney both are incredible 4th Sergio Aguero speaks for himself and 5 id agree with Cole

  3. What a disgrace. Michael Owen nowhere to be seen. The only person who’s actually won a Ballon D’Or, the highest individual accolade a footballer can achieve. Two Golden Boots by the age of 19, which has never before been achieved.

Not including his time at Newcastle and Man Utd, Michael Owen spent the same amount of time at Liverpool as Thierry Henry did at Arsenal and during this time had a better ratio of goals scored to games than Henry. Yes, really.

    Not many people know this.

Yes, from 2005 until he retired in 2013 he only scored 32 goals in nine seasons and his career dropped off a cliff (because of chronic injuries), but, this shouldn’t detract from just how great he was in the first half of his career. His stats for this period (and it’s longer than many people realise – 8 years ) are as good as anyone in this list.

  4. I think a better format would have been to put all 3 people's lists on the board as you have the space and talk about which order to finally agree on. You would end up tight groupings of the same players which would be a good debate and then wider shouts for other players.
