He used to say that broadcasting the officials mics to the stadium “wouldn’t/couldn’t work”.
It’d be nice for him to acknowledge this change.
It was always the correct way to go. As other sports prove ad nauseam.
Roy is absolutely right about kavin Phillips. Pep gave him few games recently. City lost both of those games and midfielders were passing by Philips as if he’s not there.
VAR Is great tech, everyone wants the right calls. Removing it makes it even worse and tv companies want that so they can drum up more controversies. Eventually VAR will be perfect so the calls to abolish it are absolutely ridiculous. VAR is making referee corruption stand out like a sore thumb.
