  1. These type of games, with similar teams and playstyles are usually a staring match until someone blinks. Both teams constantly cancelling each other out. A crazy chess game

  2. Why is Theo Walcott on here? This a man who admits to not being a fan of football and doesn't watch it and even as a kid never liked it but just got thrown into it because he was fast! You need football people as pundits and Theo Walcott is not one!… Richards at least has good chemistry with people even though no football brain

  3. Massive statement win from us.. still early in the season and Manchester City are still favourites for the title in my opinion but a win like this lays down a marker. COYG!!

  4. Declan Rice superbly save us from conceding early which really great for our moral boost…. Usually if you conceding early to big teams you will mentally down

  5. so Liverpool got robbed a goal and had 2 sent of for almost nothing?
And ManCity can go away with 2 clear red cards in a row for Kovacic and they can still finish with 11 on pitch?!?
I'm so glad Arsenal won the game.
Either city has PGMOL in their pocket or the referees in the PL are a joke.

  6. It’s incredible that the referee and the VAR team get away with this.

Every game should be scrutinised post match. With decisions reviewed and performance of the ref and assistance analysed.

What’s the process here. Does there need to be public outcry? What does it take to review the decisions after the fact?

  7. One tactical masterclass towards the end, I observed was Tomiyasu joining the attack to provide aerial challenge and more muscle for Walker, to give Martinelli more freedom, while Raya or Partey threw those long balls, of which one resulted in a goal

  8. Time for the EPL to stop the tail wagging the dog. Independent assessors for refs are needed so that a performance like Oliver's is penalised. As their own judge and jury the PGMOL are excessively kind to themselves. They are clearly trying to discredit the use of VAR on a weekly basis; they never wanted its introduction in the first place. It's time they were removed from the VAR control too. Ex-players could judge the fouls, the technicians could do the offside checks

  9. 😂pep is just giving some Hope to
Arsenal Tottenham Liverpool to make premier league interesting.
Dont know May be they get undefeated from now on staraight end of season.

  10. Walcott talked with a knowledge of the game and he described the role that Rice performed perfectly. Rice is a player that can play anywhere in the middle of the park.

  11. Over reaction as usual, it only a few games into the season and people getting carried away, City are notoriously slow starters but have started better this season but now Rodri will be back and KDB expected back in November they will start their usual unbeaten run that others cave in under and all these Arsenal supporters will be screaming for MA head again

  12. Why are people talking so much about the absence of Rodri and Debryne only? Arsenal beat City at Community shield with both present. Arsenal also missed Saka and Timber. Nobody is talking about Timber.

  13. If you play beautiful football against this city team and win you have created a higher level of understanding to the game, you can't beat this city playing like that you have to win ugly stop them from playing and make your own luck and take your chances

  14. It's just one game, not at the business end. City played very poor just like the did against wolves. Arsenal didn't do anything yesterday that screams they can challenge they actually played poor yesterday. If arsenal play like that against Liverpool spurs even Brighton they drop points.

  15. Kovacic first tackle alone was worse than both Gusto's and Jones's so if both of those are straight reds this one was as well, even if you think it's just a yellow, there's not way the second one isn't, the ref is on the take. Still a quality result, three subs all involved in the goal, great from Arteta, Martinelli was absolutely electric. the presence of Rice gives us so much more physical dominance, we limited the best side in the world to 4 shots, that's immense and that doesn't happen without him doing his thing. Also Saliba pocketing Haaland is immense, what a player he is, we're lucky to have him
