Those players are on ridiculous wages and not only that they have no intention or ambition to go play elsewhere. They're settled at manchester united despite not being good enough. You know what's going to happen, if martinez or varane gets injured than ten hag is going to either play victor lindelof (who is a better option than maguire) or play luke shaw as the centre back and play malacia as the left back. It's proven that lindelof and shaw do complement each other, and are quite mobile centre backs who move the ball quickly. There simply is no place in the team for harry maguire anymore. It's a similar scenario for mctominay, he's never going to be picked ahead of mount, eriksen, bruno, casemiro and hopefully amrabat if he comes in. These players need to be knocking on the door and asking to play regular football and not sit on their asses earning good money at the club and insisting it's alright, ridiculous I would sell more than 2 players at manchester united. It's beneficial for their careers as well, otherwise they'll be seen as a waste of space.
