  1. They won't sell the entire club, they will sell minority positions in the club as the club ascends the pyramid to fund further expansion.

  2. No mention of TV money which is a big part of every teams finance. Championship teams receive 4.5 million pounds, League One 700,000 pounds and League Two teams 470,000 pounds. The phenomenal world wide viewing of Wrexham will enhance the kitty available, changes to the percentage sharing of the kitty per division may need to be adjusted if viewing figures for Wrexham are outstripping Premiership clubs.

  3. The task ahead is to keep the team together…I think Paul Mullins is probably one of the best pure strikers in the world right now, but Wrexham is a team story…yes they have his ridiculous talent…but I think it is more his attitude..his class and humility…the team flourished because of him but he flourished because of the team…
They have to do everything in their power to keep the team together…and if they do…I have no doubts they will be promoted next season again

  4. This is one of the best takes I have seen on this. But there is precedent with Ryan in his other companies. He sold his stakes in Mint Mobile and Aviation Gin for hundreds of millions, but he agreed to stay a spokesperson and use his Maximum Effort marketing company as the face of both. I cannot see him selling all his full stake like those 2 examples since he really seems to love the team and community (as we all do now from around the world) but he is already working with the Ottawa Senators and a group of real estate developers to purchase them with a small stake but with the intention of doing a similar documentary.

  5. Congratulations to Wrexham afc to their fans and to their owners. I see the usual financial buzzards have started circling already. Making predictions on what should happen next based on a short term scalping solution, this is not the long term plan of any football or sports club. In fact if these plans were implemented the old story that dragged Wrexham down in the first place would happen again. Instead of which, these 2 guys have bought the club, used their significant financial and social media clout and fulfilled their first promise, watch other clubs now find the same backing to help them. It can only help all the leagues.

  6. Comparing Wrexham and Salford is a bit bizarre. Historically Wrexham have predominently a third tier club, have made the quarter finals of a European competition and the redevolped Cae Ras will host internationals, albeit friendlies.

This is a club with a massive history (record number of Welsh Cup wins) and has always had a fan base. Vastly different to Salford.

  7. I really hope they stick around, i didn't knew anything about this club till this season but i really love watching what's happening there now. It's like a real life Ted Lasso.

  8. Ryan and Rob have been measured in their approach. They didn't go all "Hollywood" on this one. Clever transfers, clever recruitment all round. A lesson for new millionaire and billionaire owners incoming across these leagues.. 600 million cough

  9. I'm always amazed that people try and get their content out there first on YouTube, hits = money. Well done. Can we see the Notts county pre tube stuff by any chance?

  10. They have a larger and more passionate fanbase than Bournemouth. So I’m not concerned for Wrexham.

I also have a feeling that R&R would make sure that whoever they eventually sold the club to, would be a responsible and suitable owner. I highly doubt they’d cut and run and leave the club in the lurch.

So if and when the owners do leave, I think the club has a bright future ahead.

  11. You make very valid points. Ryan Reynolds always seems to sell his assets at the top. So when might he feel that in regards to Wrexham? This could leave Wrexham in a very precarious position, so I do worry.

  12. The two Hollywood actor owners, then add a successful Disney TV show and Tiktok sponsorship = this is new levels already. The revenue they raise through these three attributes alone will stabilise them as they rise. If they go to league 1 tell me how Burton Albion or Cheltenham compete against that. Championship how Rotherham or PNE compete and then the Prem how Bournemouth or Palace compete against it as it gets bigger and more popular worldwide? Could be a genius move from these guys or go tits up. Seeming more like the former than the latter with already a WW audience before entering the league. Impressive

  13. Ryan just sold Mint Mobile for 1.35 billion dollars, taking in a reported 300 million. I believe this as an indication that he will have more investment in the club, and the spending will go accordingly.

Hopefully as they keep winning, they don’t need to worry more about the outside revenue streams.

  14. if the two owner stick around then we may see them getting to EPL in next 10 years. They need 3 promotions which all would be incredibly difficult. The exposure obviously served them well but when you get to league 2 , its some serious competition every week
