19. Fans, really? Taking cheap jab after Jab after jab at an open-face saying those are average players. Not everything is permanent and those crop of players have been contenders for top 4 for years now so they’re not average at all. Poor defensively I’ll give you that. But this was STABILITY VS unstable today. That’s all. Newcastle were sharp clinical energetic (which we lacked against Villa) and we are organised whereas spurs have major off field issues. That doesn’t mean they have average players.

    Usually Newcastle before Eddie how had huge off field issues and got hammered when we faced spurs. They took advantage of our off-field issues and motivation. So redemption for Newcastle now with this performance today. Spurs just need stability and clarity. Not chaos. They lack the drive and motivation and aren’t trying. Doesn’t mean they have average players. Off field issues whether your pro or not create real on field problems. Fairly simple. But week in week out calling spurs woeful and a side with no quality players really is pathetic.
