1. yo i love this, i work grounds and we have a huge plastic stencil for endzones. takes forever to paint the outline and fill it in. Im going to suggest we get stencils like the ones used in this video to get the full outlines done from the get go

  2. More so than the painting aspect, I've always wondered about mowing the grass, and how often that has to be done to get everything looking good at the correct length, etc.

  3. What a waste of money and paint and manpower. They need to just get a pro turf field and get it over with. The technology for turf has come so far that its basically like the real thing, but so much better and they can put you a drainage system in where rain will not be an issue at all. The newer pro turf is just like real grass, with millions of individual blades and the materials have come so far and they even put rubber pellets in to mimic the dirt under the grass. It needs zero prep or maintenance and only needs to be replaced once a decade and would probably be way cheaper, in the long run, then what you're doing now.

  4. For the curious the paint used for the field based on their estimate of 2400 gallons a season is roughly 80 dollars for 5 gallons and comes to roughly 38,400 dollars a season. Not sure if that’s just the football paint cost or for all the fields in every sport they paint but that’s still a lot of money for just paint.

  5. firmer for the field but softer for the head???? how in the backwards hell does that happen well its no wonder you guys got some shiny award for playing arts and crafts on a football field

  6. 1) Ok, Allot of the areas get 2 coats every week, How many gallon of paint do you go through in a month ??

    2) You mentioned this is a water base paint, what is different about the pain than the paint allot of us use for interior or exterior at home ? Is It special made ?
