As a physician every contract I’ve ever signed has a behavior and ethics clause , and it says if you show poor judgment or show the public something unbecoming (which is hella open to interpretation) you can be fired! A big one is if you sew any decision with staff- which could be just saying yeah the boss is a jerk to staff. It’s considered unethical to harm the integrity of the “medical team” and that can hurt patient care! And like any place these rules can be applied randomly if they just think you’re a headache , while if you bring in a lot of money you can have a lot more leeway. The point being the burden of “proof” is very low for conduct clause- easy as hey you didn’t do anything wrong or illegal or bad- but you made us look bad so see ya.

I think it would give the public a great deal of insight as to why there was no criminal indictment.
