  1. Im SO glad Watsons attorneys suck lol. Watson is paying them millions, yet they're helping the prosecution with their big mouths & missed opportunities lol. Its quite an entertaining show, since the cast is made up of fools & felons!

  2. I’m sure this could have been handled worse by Watson and his team, but I don’t know how. They look foolish, unless your goal was too simple fleece the brown and never actually take a snap for them.

  3. Deshaun Watson should have tried to resolve this matter before coming to the Browns the Browns got involved iThey reached for another quarterback while losing their own sure they still have them under contract whose hearts no longer in their team the fans don’t deserve this

  4. Settle, settle, settle. This is going to cost him A LOT MORE, millions more. He could have settled 18 cases for $1.8 million ($100,000 each). Major screw up not taking them up on the offer. And Florio is right, the $100K was an opener. I bet he could have settled for $50,000. Even if he is innocent, a lot cheaper than rolling the dice at a trial. And then you have the cost of a trial. Big mistake, and he can't go back now.

  5. If Watson came out and admitted that he had a problem and got help for his issues, could he be forgiven? I think he could. To get to redemption he needs to repent. The reason why "Cancel Culture" is out of control is because too many people have brought into the notion that it is better to avoid personal responsibility and obfuscate than to tell the truth and get help. There needs to be a space for a person to tell hard truths and get the help they desperately need so there can be a reconciliation. Is the world going to end if Waston tells the truth, gets help and accepts the consequences of his behavior? If he told the truth, repented and changed his ways the sun will shine and the world will continue to turn. It would end up being a brighter day because he can be free of living a lie.

Football should be the last thing on Deshaun Watson's mind. Dude needs serious help. He needs to be focusing on seeing the best psychiatrist that money can buy. What would be best for Deshaun Watson right now would be for him to check himself into an Inpatient Treatment Program. Football can wait. Human beings who are clearly in crisis should be more important than football. You can't change what you don't acknowledge. The Browns and the NFL need to cut the crap and put the health and safety of human beings before winning football games. There needs to be a culture change where the NFL and teams put human beings first. It isn't a good or healthy situation to pretend that dude doesn't have a serious problem and dude doesn't need extensive Comprehensive Counseling. For every rat you see, there is 10 you don't. Don't let the devil ride because he might want to drive! NFL needs to think long and hard about who they really want to be and who they are. This is a watershed moment whether the NFL realizes it or not.

  6. I like Mike & Chris a ton, but they both destroyed Tony Busby & dismissed the initial charges. That by itself is no big deal, but the reason they dismissed the charges is bc Tony Busby is a friend to Trump. Guys, look past your own politics.

  7. So theoretically settling out of court would have cost him at most $2.1mil? Probably more like $1.5mil? Jeez man….That's less than one game check. I know hindsight is 20/20, and I know that he still claims his innocence, but I feel like his lawyer(s) should have coached him a little better on this one. This comes down to a he said / 66 others said situation, there was undoubtedly some sketchiness surrounding all of it (the NDA's, the private room, etc.), and the current social climate is not very forgiving to this sort of claim. Either he isn't listening to his lawyers or somebody gave him bad advice.

That being said, I'm glad it went this way. Screw him. I'm glad he wasn't able to pay off these women and walk away scot-free.

  8. So someone assaulted these women & none of them really filled a police report. He only had relations with 3 of them and 18 of them were ready to jump for 100,000 settlement. This feels like one of those pesticide class action lawsuits.

  9. This guy believes anything that’s said about Watson. There’s zero objectivity in anything he says. He can believe that DW tried to pay someone off, but he can’t believe that he said he never disrespected anyone. This is typical of white men who are intimidated by this black stallion. The two stooges minus 1. Lmao ?

  10. Let him play and deal with cases/results as they come. If it comes out he raped/assaulted these women then begin suspension at that time. Right now he's innocent. He should be at practice now getting ready for the season. These allegations are just nuisances for people that have things to do.

  11. I almost wanna say the nfl media is over-reporting the deseaun Watson thing but honestly I disagree. This is going to go down in NFL history in terms of drama

  12. I remembered when this all broke out into the public and ALL THE COMMENTATORS were of the opinion that this would blow over and he would just go to a new team. The shear number even back then made me SCARED the Lions might grab him. Even if these lawyers messed up it’s an avalanche of accusations known even before they messed up. Maybe we didn’t know exactly what happened. But we knew a lot of women were coming after him. Innocent or guilty… NO TEAM SHOULD HAVE WANTED HIM UNTIL IT WAS FULLY RESOLVED! Completely settled. The Browns should never have gone after him

  13. We’re not talking about children, these women knew exactly what they were doing, looking for money then, and now looking for another payday.. if there was no physical harm, it was consensual $$$$

  14. Man this has been a disaster all around. Let him play until this goes all the way through the legal process then punish thats just me though. I'm hoping for a trial like the Depp v Heard deal just so its out in the public and everyone can see for themselves. What's that saying "Sunlight Is the Best Disinfectant" Watson is adamant that he wants to clear his name heres the chance air it all out don't settle clear your name.

  15. UNPOPULAR TAKE: These women are NOT looking for justice, they're looking for MONEY (PERIOD)!

If the reports are true and they were each offered $100K, but 4 refused…then it's pretty clear to me what they're after!

He said he didn't assault or force anyone to do anything against their will! I believe him! If you want to judge this man through your morality lens, then go for it, but no criminal laws were broken!
