  1. I don't think in the history of the Cleveland Browns has anyone talk about them
    Unfortunately it is all negative
This season is going to be a disaster
The is the beginning of the wheels falling off the bus
Reality is they should be thinking about rebuilding the team
    Starting today
Like it or not this season is going to be a total disaster
I am guessing that they will have the number one draft pick next year no matter what they do right now

  2. Time is now for Watson to admit he has a problem and get into rehab. Otherwise, risk the high probability that he never performs at his pre-pandemic level. Also, can someone explain to me (other than a lame attempt at bolstering ratings) why Simms plays sidekick on PFT episodes that transcend football; he offers no independent thinking, analysis or insight and has a difficult time finishing sentences.

  3. When did the NFL (and Pro Football Talk) start caring about public opinion….they knew the majority of NFL fans did not like the players kneeling for the National Anthem but they allowed it anyways….stop already with the Fake News and Fake Outrage…I bet Watson is more popular with NFL fans than Kaepernick…

  4. So wierd how all 66 girls have the same lawyers and the lawyer is the Texans owners friend. Imagine getting suspended cause of public opinion, especially when shows like this are pushing the narrative.

  5. Mike Florio, Blind spots really , i will put it to you this way that maybe you will understand , if the team did not know that but knows every other detail about watson & everyone else but not this huummmmm so I can walk on water is what you are saying if the team did not know about & simply turned a blind eye in which they are just as guilt by allowing this to continue

  6. Very difficult to prosecute a he said/she said and that's why Watson hasn't been charged. The thing is, Watson has been saying things that indicate that he DID the things these women are saying, but he thinks it was okay! One or two, you can dismiss (but you shouldn't without some investigation), but 24??? No way. 24 out of 66 suing him is actually a pretty high percentage considering they are going up against a famous millionaire pro football player with endless lawyers and people to bad mouth the women, and make excuses for him. He should be suspended until the cases are tried or suits settled. It's the only way to get your team ready with the QB you are going to end up using anyway.

  7. Baker Mayfield stepped up, played through PAINFUL injury, manned up for his TEAM, and got nothing but disrespect,. Leadership, character, loyalty. We put our children into sports to learn and build good qualities. Shame on the Browns.

  8. I don't want to hear nothing else unless there's proof and he's charged. Did Ben Roethlisberger still play with allegations? Yes. So leave it alone folks this is an obvious smear campaign.

  9. I don’t want to be too harsh, but Simms always just agrees, repeats himself or whatever Mike just said, and then says “I really do” whenever he starts a thought. It’s not a discussion it’s just breaths between Mike monologuing.

  10. It doesn't help the alleged victims if you indict but can't convict. And you've wasted time that could have been spent on other cases you can win.

  11. Florio is on a straight witch hunt. He even goes as far as "I don't care if you're guilty or not, make amends and move on". Then later states the NFL said "No Comment" regarding paid leave but then follows up with "My belief is paid leave is back on the table". Afterwards he claims Watson will want to settle once he knows he can't play.

Florio in the past when talking about Robert Kraft, Ben Roethlisberger, Brett Favre and (Numerous) other similar (Accusations) regarding white men his reaction and thirst for vindication was completely different.

For the record I am a white male. However, it's clear Florio is biased or giving a double standard out of white privilege. What Watson is going through with the Media right now is extremely wrong

  12. Texans organization enabled Deshauan Watson with NDAs. Then then flipped the dirt on him when ? hits the fan. McNair should be held accountable.

  13. Question: If the Texans become involved in the Watson situation and are proven to be culpable, could the Browns appeal to the NFL to void the trade between the Browns and Texans? And would the district attorney's in Texas reexamine the case and file charges against Watson? People are dancing around the issue that his reputation will always be a PR nightmare for the NFL and any team that he is with.

  14. If DeShaun had done the wise and prudent thing 15 months ago and settled at $20,000,000, then he would have been ready to play in the NFL in 2022 and the NFL would have been pleased that this bad situation had gone away…Mr. Florio is right…Take the short term Roethlisberger reputation hit and live to have an extended and healthy NFL career…

  15. I think you both believe you have more power than you really do, Watson hasn’t spoken despite many of you wanting him to and I understand why. He’s winning where it matters the legal system talking to the media and public doesn’t benefit his case at all. Those who think he’s guilty will never change their mind so no use in trying to correct them beat the case in the justice system meaning don’t settle don’t get indicted and if your still doubting him after that, then that’s just you.

  16. I’ve seen pain and suffering awards go into the 10-20million range though rare. But I’d think now that the ladies need to be pushing for 1-2 million each at least, we have had on HBO special already, there will be more especially the longer these go and if goes to trial might be OJ trial x 24- it will be crazy! I can see at 24 plaintiffs a decent percentage of that salary the Browns are going to pay goes to payouts and legal fees- imagine how much rusty Harden is charging – and if it goes to 2024 that’s millions in legal fees- Rusty has already won even losing! So the happy ending line etc hmmm let’s keep these cases active for awhile- I bet he is the lawyer who at the end of the day comes out ahead$$$.
