Cristiano Ronaldo is expected to stay at Manchester United this summer and will report back for pre-season training at the beginning of July, despite reports he is ready to quit the club.
Portuguese sports daily Record claim Ronaldo wants to leave after only one season back at Old Trafford as he fears new boss Erik ten Hag does not have the right tools to compete for titles, while he is also said to be frustrated with the club’s transfer window so far.
However, it is understood the 37-year-old is expected to return for pre-season preparations once back from his summer holidays, which will be slightly extended due to his involvement with Portugal in their three opening Nations League fixtures in June.

Cristiano ??
Getting Ronaldo back to United was the biggest mistake.
Ronaldo belongs at Man Utd
Man Utd are in a total mess. They may as well be liquidated.
Sky Sports are always last to know any football news
Ronaldo is still phenomenal, but clubs are gonna be looking for long-term investments for strikers, and a 37 year old isn't one of them, and that's why he won't be able to move, even if he wanted to. It's an unusual situation because most players at this age usually go to MLS, the Chinese Super League or the UAE- they don't stay in European football. That's a testament to his mentality, but it doesn't change the fact- CR7 is unfortunately stuck. Manchester United is a club that badly needs him, at least for next season.

???????
What are you doing ?
said this already the fake news media just want to get clicks by using CR'S name he was never leaving
He spectacular
How much are they paying him.?
Ronaldo is a legend a king he don't follow the record but the record follow him at the age 37 he still played in the biggest league in the world wow wat a player till the day he retired also he will be in the top level..not like messi he play in the farmer's league at the age 35…
He’ll be gone by January ?
Cristiano is honestly a diva ??
Made my day SUIIIIII
Ronaldo could have gone to a farmers league like Messi …But look at him
Maybe he could go to Brentford.
These no-mark Sky reporters haven’t a clue. They are guessing.
I mean who would confide in this greenhorn ? ?
Imagine is being your worst season since the Premier League began, yet you still haven’t signed anyone?
The glaziers sacked Ralf because wanted ten players. The glazers sacked Ralf because they don't want to be successful they want clowns to run the transfer window so they can take 11million in dividends.
Erik Ten Hag not having the right "tools" puzzles me. They have the money. Just spend it. Bring in players that have worked well with Ajax in the past. Be aggressive and ambitious. Ronaldo is all that remains of a bygone era of glory for MU and so when he says the club need to step up their game, he must be listened to. He has earned that much at least.
Ronaldo the pensioner what a laugh
He is already 37 and on those wages only MU dumb enuff to pay it. ?
He was an excellent player and he still could be of value for a team, but if you are building a team where everyone needs to to his work, you can forget him. I don't think he will be of great value for Ten Hag. I don't see him defend the way haggis expect him to
At 37 your career should get slightly easier, this man’s career is just getting harder
Man Utd should look into Gareth Bale. I think he and Marcelo are free
He should go Brentford
Man united dont deserve the GOAT. Come back to Real Madrid?
Who's your sources, everyday our sources tell us…!?
I think what people don't get is that Ronaldo is staying BECAUSE he's so ambitious. Everyone else says "he should leave this dead club and go achieve things". But that's likely not how he sees it. What he sees is an impossible task (returning Man Utd to near the top) and he won't be stopped in trying. It would be easy for him to go win the league with Bayern and maybe even challenge for the Champs League. But stats are just stats, and getting Man Utd back up there is a much bigger challenge.
Ronaldo is problematic. His ego and constant lineup is not the answer at United. Competent clubs don’t want him at his age.
Ha ha he's 37 will be 38 mid season and he's being paid £510k/week, who else would pay him silly money like that ?
let him go maybe he thinks when he changing the clubs that when he will become 23 years which will never happen
The big problem remains ..Pogba is in Manchester? Where is he? Near the manager?
He is frustrated not many players are coming out
?, gets some much hate for no reason.
Well, most of us expect him to stay, but will him take a pay cut?
