  1. Hahaha!!!!! Clean up the NFL?? Congress is the most corrupt institution in the country. You guys are living in 1952. The NFL. Fix the freaking country. Bahahahahahaha.

  2. I appreciate Florio weighing in on the importance of the Jan 6 investigation. A profile in courage you might say since it shouldn't be divisive but will surely be that's just how things are now.
Jack Del Rio is going to do what Trump supporters do and that's defect with the what about the riots dea;. An argument completely blown up by a trained lawyer as nonsense.
    Let the public hearings begin.

  3. Florio should bloody well know better. This eyeroll dog and pony show, otherwise known as the House of Representatives, is nowhere near the institution that the NFL is these days.

I mean, afterall, theres a lot of existing/potential donors behind the NFLs exclusive velvet rope, starting with Roger "North of 30M annually" Goodell.

  4. Why didn't Congress ask Goodell about destroying evidence of the Patriots cheating.I mean the NFL is legally gambled on by placing bets, playing fantasy football, etc, doesn't the integrity of the game mean everything?

  5. Dude, just because they request their presence at a hearing, doesn't mean they actually have to go. Snyder will simply deny their request. Stop making every little occurrence a big deal. Until the headline reads, "DAN SNYDER IS FORCED TO SELL THE WASHINGTON FRANCHISE KNOWN AS THE WASHINGTON COMMANDERS" stop wasting our time. I have gotten to the point that these insignificant tidbits are just to get us excited only to be let down. Just like last week, where you said the other owners were taking a vote to oust Dan. That turned out to be a big fat "nothing burger" just like this will ultimately be. simply put,….STOP PLAYING WITH OUR EMOTIONS.

  6. Good waste of taxpayer dollars…. But that's all Congress does is waste our money. Not a fan of Snyder but I think we have more important issues like inflation, gas prices and crime.

  7. Another dog and pony show. I remember when the congress did this for baseball. It was a non event. Gas prices and food prices soaring and the government thinks this the most pressing issue.

  8. I'm finding these two less and less watchable the more — and more — Mike Florio talks. And does Chris Simms ever disagree with him, or is his job to just nod and tell Florio how right he is?

  9. So.. If Goodell really doesn't want to talk about the whole Washington/Snyder dysfunctional stuff and when did they know about the treatment of female employees in WA and why didn't they do anything… yada, yada.. does he just hand down a big Deshawn Watson suspension a few days prior to the Congressional hearing, so 90% of the questions end up being about Watson instead? Then he gets to talk platitudes about respecting women' rights, (and especially racism, which we know the league really could care less about)??. Is he that Machiavellian?

  10. When testifying to congress, there are three words that can protect you. "I don't recall". Politicians and rich greedy CEO's have done this forever. Never give a clear answer.
Perjury Answers: "yes" or "no" Escapable Answers: "I THINK" or "that MAY" or "I BELIEVE".

  11. Idek why Simms would wanna be on this show anymore. You take subtle jabs at him daily over petty crap, you interrupt him all the time before Simms can even explain himself. furthermore, you just recycle whatever Simms says about X’s and O’s but yet never give him credit
