International football has really evolved since the turn of the century. Many nations that were the proverbial whipping boys of the bygone era are now starting to stand toe to toe with countries that have dominated the footballing landscape of the planet for almost one hundred years.

If the US hadn't be cheated out of the 2022 world Cup I think it would've been a good push to popularise football.

Women's football prevails because it is not as competitive as men's in the world. In addition, men's football has more markings and few spaces on the field, forcing teams to evolve the tactical scheme.

Sports are for stupid ppl who can't do any real work . I was a All-Star MVP on a team several years in a row and I learned that athletes are usually stupid and can't even do trigonometry or particle physics . in fact if you talk to them about . the get mad and dont want you around anymore
The US need to get rid of draft system and introduce pro/reg system if they want to improve of the quality of the league
The problem that ALL of the critics of American Soccer do not realize is that we cannot have the system the critics want the US to have. The Reason? In 36 of the 50 States, it is ILLEGAL for any child under the age of 16 to be under a professional contract. If a child from 16 to 18 signs a professional contract and does not continue with school, again that is ILLEGAL. The reason is that with the exception of movies and television, no child can
participate in any sort of apprenticeship program that pays them a wage, and that includes soccer! Under US laws a child can be in a pay to play system OR they can be in system where all of the costs are paid for by a charity. However any system like they have in Europe would result in the prosecution of the adults involved.
Introduce the Artistic element into American football. Only hard work is not enough, Be more playful and train to get superb skills

The USA men's team has improved over the years to be honest, but they need to be able to build a more talented men's team if they want to compete with the world's best one day. It is strange that their women team have been able to do that but not their men's team.
Well their women's national team is amazing, they just were never able to build a talented good men's team which is strange considering the United States is the world's top ranked sports nation in the Olympics and world championships.
