  1. Jerry Rice went to Mississippi Valley State. Why did Deion go to Florida State instead of Bethune Cookman or FAMU? Y’all will see how much Deion cares about HBCUs when he leaves Jackson State for another job.

  2. I think Saban is concerned more about the corruption that is developing in college football …Money makes things very different for players and their families …You can see it in the way Sanders and Jimbo responded …Will we have Pro football in Sept.?

  3. Saban wouldn't win crap without the #1 recruiting class in 10 of 13 years. Kirby Smart comes along, goes #1, #2 #1 recruiting classes for 3 straight years and voila, now he's a national champion coach too. It's all about procuring (i.e. buying) the best talent.

  4. Saban never complained about "Unfairness" in recruiting all these years while his Alabama program has been at the the very top in recruiting each year. Now that other programs are able to recruit, he suddenly finds it unfair that "Poor Alabama" can't dominate college football by having it's choice of the nation's top HS talent each year, and then exploiting that talent disparity between Bama and the other schools to compete for championships. BOO friggin' HOO!

  5. Great comments/analysis by Deion Sanders!! Jerry Jones and the NFL have to be really ticked about the NCAA's NIL as now the NIL has no salary cap whereas the NFL still has their salary cap!!

  6. This is the beginning of the end of college football. The amount of people who believe NIL and paying players is a good thing will destroy not only college football, but college sports in general. Instead of players choosing school that best suit them and their future degrees and careers they'll choose the biggest paycheck. really sad.

  7. They've been paying players under the table since time immemorial, and everybody knows it. So now, it's above board and very well so. These college athletes generate MONEY. They should be paid for putting their bodies on the line as entertainment for the fans. Let the games begin.

  8. You think this is bad…just wait until ESPN loses control of the playoff to another network like Fox…and cannot merely manipulate and select an SEC team (a conference ESPN has billion dollar conttract with) regardless of strength of schedule or bad losses…to play in a game ESPN owns the rights to..in a system that ESPN has control of…while ESPN uses its media power to control the rankings to keep other teams down and SEC teams up (regardless of losses , SOS, etc)

  9. Maybe the NIL and transfer portal are a little out of control right now because it is so new, but to me, this is leveling the playing field and small (in comparison), private schools like Miami can now compete with the big state-funded football factories once again and coaches like Saban simply don't like it. Nick Saban whining is so tone deaf, the dude has been king of the mountain for 20 years.

  10. 1 HBCU finally gets a 5 star athlete and now they pay players, meanwhile these white schools been doing this for YEARS giving kids money and homes ETC just so they can attend their school. Actually, 60 years ago black students weren't even allowed to attend a school like Alabama, now you beg them to attend because they make you millions. These people NEVER cease to amaze me……. it's truly incredible.

  11. It's not about losing power. It's about the game changing to the point money is running and ruining everything. He's 70 years old and has won 7 titles…he's in the twilight of his coaching tenure. I would imagine most of you don't even know half the stories on how Saban has helped various communities in Alabama. It's actually about the purity of the game being lost and basically the championship titles now being given to the highest bidder. Never in this sport has an 8-4 obtain the best class ever! And sadly enough the people that will be most hurt by it will be the average black player. Yes, many will get "paid" but many will make bad choices on trying to get a quick pay day, which will hurt them in the long run.

  12. Ohio state university boosters own different businesses, one gave corvettes to best players to come, plus glove boxes are full of $100 Bill's, every college football team that plays in top 4 bowl games have always cheated, it's called playing in the gray area

  13. the college with the most money will be in the playoffs

    NCAA FOOTBALL SUX,
I'll stick with high School and NFL, at least the suckiest team gets the best draft choices if your any good at drafting
