  1. Joe played in the sec he played in the acc two different defenses AC ain't known for football other than Clemson and I didn't see him playing for no championships or in the playoffs how would he look playing against Alabama how would he look playing against a Georgia team a floor the team we named the ACC teams we named Duke like really

  2. How uninformative he hardly fumbled it all at Pitt….. He had one of the lowest fumble totals of any quarterback in the NCAA if not the lowest what are you talking about

  3. These bums at NBC can't even bother to listen to their own audio. There's an artifact when mike tirico says NBC sports and its been on their clips for years now.

  4. The good news is the Steelers with the 20th pick in Round # 1 chose Kenny Pickett, the best available QB in the 2022 NFL draft. The bad news is that every QB was still available at the 20th pick. The last time no QB was taken in Round # 1 before the 20th pick was 25 years ago, in 1997, when Jim Druckenmiller was selected with the 26th pick by the 49ers. None of the QBs in the 1997 draft class set the NFL on fire. Chances are, the 2022 QB class won’t either.

Pickett is not an NFL-ready QB, but he may be developed into one. In college, he threw the ball well and accurately, and by all reports he mades good decisions with the ball (few mental errors). Behind a solid O-line, he might become the next Jake Plummer. But the Steelers’ O-line is not a solid wall, it’s more like a sieve, and Pickett isn’t built to take a season of heavy hits like a Ben Rothlisberger or a Troy Aikman. He is likely to suffer injuries and concussions like the many promising QBs before him who played behind inferior lines.

The Steelers should have used their first pick on a top OT or D-linemen. We and Pickett can hope that in the rest of the draft, the Steelers will remedy their O-line deficiencies and the holes in their defense. Pickett was not a poor first round pick, but he isn’t what the Steelers need to remedy the mediocrity of the last twelve years.

  5. I’m a Giants fan but think this is a great pick for the Steelers. Shocked he fell to them so it worked out perfectly. It’s a dream scenario for them actually. Pickett has some deficiencies but has some talent. He went to Pitt & gets to stay in Pittsburgh so the familiarity should help ease the transition. The Steelers signed Mitch Trubisky & getting another QB was now a pretty serious need after the tragic death of Dwayne Haskins. Haskins had an up & down start to his career but he had a lot of ability & upside. Haskins had a chance to resurrect his career in a great spot but we’ll sadly never know due to his shocking premature accidental passing. Now the Steelers have a former #1 pick & starter in Trubisky & a first round pick in Pickett who was the consensus most NFL ready QB im the draft ready to fight for the starting job. Pittsburgh is a great place for him to land where he can develop & flourish since the Steelers have a solid team & experienced coaching staff. This was a perfect spot for Pickett. He’s at a spot that can get the most out of him & he has a chance to develop into a very good starting NFL QB with the talent they have in Pittsburgh.

  6. Wasted a pick, but atleast we’ll have a top 5-10 pick next year. It’s unfortunate but I guess we gotta watch 3 below average QBs compete for the starting job. just the start of the next 20+ year QB drought

  7. Good luck with a young Andy Dalton comp in an AFC loaded with generational qb talents. Slow Release time, avg arm strength, avg athleticism. This isn't going to land for you Steeler Nation. Welcome to qb purgatory

  8. I can't believe we drafted midget hands.. I really feel bad for Tomlin because he's got the saddest QB room ever.. midget hands, Rudolph without his red nose and the NVP ??

  9. Joe burrow, Watson, Lamar and Steelers take kenny Pickett. Oh wait, Josh Allen, maholmes, Russell Wilson, Herbert. But the Steelers think kenny Pickett is the answer. That organization is shot, washed. It’s over. Not contenders any time soon

  10. do you guys think the 3/8ths difference between burrows and picketts hands is going to be that discernable given burrow is already .7 inches beneath burrow? i think no but wanna hear opinions
