  1. They selected Pickett because they saw him dang near daily for over 4yrs, not that Willis or the others can't play or won't be good/better but they don't have to speculate on what they've got in Pickett. Just as Aiden's a safe pick for Detroit. You know what you're getting.

  2. What people fail to mention is the Steelers would have chose Willis IF they thought he had more upside, regardless of if it took a few years for him to reach that. They got Tribusky for that very reason. So it's obvious to me they not only 100% believe Pickett is more ready and the best qb at this point BUT also believe he has the most upside as well. They would not have takin Pickett simply cause he's more ready now. They feel he's got the higher ceiling. THE guy, the next Ben.

  3. I trust the Steelers know what they were doing drafting Kenny Pickett Let's face facts the Pittsburgh Steelers have had 7 losing seasons in the last 50 years. There is not another team in the NFL that can say that. And being they could see Kenny all the time they probably got this pick right. They probably got it really right.

  4. reports are saying that they tried to trade up to the 15 spot, Texans did not accpet the trade but it worked out.. so your opinions on this a mute point

  5. I remember Joe Burrow just being OK until his last year in college when he had his greatest year. 60 tds and 6 picks. Up until his last year he only had 16 td's. Kenny Picket had his greatest year his final year in college. 42 tds and 7 interceptions and LSU was a lot more talented than Pitt when they won the Natl championship. Just sayin.

  6. We have 3 young good quarterbacks and we are looking forward to the competition. (Code for we aren't sure about any of them)

  7. The Steelers never traded up before they traded up for 8 time Pro Bowler Troy Polamalu in the 2003 Draft. Trading up is just something that the Steelers don't usually do. In a Draft where most teams passed on a QB multiple times, you have to hand it to the Steelers. They got their guy before any of the rest of them, and some of them (Ahem, Seahawks) didn't even get a guy.
