The Panthers are reportedly thinking of Sean Payton for 2023, and while Mike Florio and Chris Simms don’t see him heading to Carolina, they do think there’s a good chance he could make a big return to coaching. #NBCSports #ProFootballTalk #SeanPayton

Jon Gruden on MNF was awesome
You guys have nothing to talk about lol
every team needs a somewhat legit qb. Hes had bridgewater, sam and newton….all those dudes should be backups
ya the teams called the cowboys. Big mikes going to get fired and jerry going to pay sean whatever he likes
Hopefully Mike will stick to football. Saying NFL should pressure Fox to cancel Tucker Carlson is absurd. Mike going Woke. Go woke go broke.
sometimes he just love talking like a lawyer and sounds completely ridiculous and he loves it??
Where would he go ? Vikings if he went this year would have been really intriguing. But they just got a new coach. So Washington (but it's s dumpster organization), Arizona maybe ? Dallas if they don't win a playoff game (but who wants to coach for Jerry). Maybe Carolina if they're in a position to get a real good QB in next draft.
Tepper would personally put the knife into Matts back to get Sean Payton. But the Panthers have no chance he is out of their league. Rule is still a dead man walking though.
So if you are the Saints, you set the bar high….like 3 #1 picks. Why not???
Would other teams allow Sean Peyton to come in and watch their practices in order to broadcast the game?
What would the networks pay for Bellichic to go into the booth?
There's not a whole lot involved we're talking compensation if that was to happen we've been here before Mike who is Bill parcells and the Patriots and Jets and John gruden in the raiders and the Tampa Bay buccaneers
I think if Payton comes back he’ll end up in Indy when Frank Reich bungles another season. National media all love him but he’s cost the Colts a minimum of three games every season he’s been their head coach with his ludicrously bad decisions.
Oh please. Coach Rhule left a "great job" at Baylor because David Tepper dropped 70-80 million bucks in his lap to set his family up for life. Nothing to do with the great vision David had for rebuilding the team. So ridiculous.
Rhule sounds like a dead man talking
He has to be lying I would feel so bad if he really believed Tepper
Payton is waiting for Dallas to fire McCarthy.
I really like Matt Rule
I think there is a reason that Payton doesn't have an announcing job yet. But I still think that Payton is taking next year off regardless.
A coach is like a race horse trainer. Owners are always looking for a better trainer.
This is good.I wonder where he goes
Sean Payton is the most overrated coach in the NFL if not all professional sports. Half his seasons with Drew Brees, a hall of famer QB, are .500 or worse.
Payton and Brees gonna end up together again. Coaches pull similar moves to get out of a situation, they just don’t do it at a player level like delete the team off your IG account.
Payton going to get lots of coaching offers but he seems to want more personal time than the crazy hours coaches have.
Still don't understand why Payton left the Saints. The Saints still have yet another playoff roster.
LOL, Sean Payton joins Fox Sports.
