  1. More Teams in red states so they can pay their tax money to what they want it to go to, Billionaires and their sports franchises. They will pay taxes out the wazzu for their beloved sports teams owner to make millions or billions off of a publicly paid asset. Taxes for public services, not so much.

  2. One problem. The NFL shouldn't expand, and likely never will unless they're introducing a system similar to European Soccer so not all the existing teams are in the "top tier" at once. They've basically reached the maximum capacity they can sustain with the number of players good enough to play in the league that would still leave teams competitive.

  3. I think it’s a great idea but will it happen, Jerry may be a little too selfish. If you’re talking about in 10-12 years you probably won’t have to worry about Jerry’s approval.

  4. Dallas almost pooped a rib when the Texans were awarded a franchise – the idea of a 2nd team in Dallas would send Jerry Jones and the Cowboys into orbit. Surely Mexico City would make more sense – huge untapped market, close enough to establish a rivalry and fits with the NFL's apparent desire to expand the league outside the US.

  5. Well, the mayor of Dallas had a chance to get the Cowboys when Jerry Jones was looking to relocate the team. The Ahole mayor turned down the deal. Of course, AT&T stadium is a gold mine for Arlington. That's what I call ironic.

  6. You need the cheap seats to keep up interest.

Florio is describing basketball's relationship with fans…..Which is a dying sport

More expensive seats = reduced intensity

  7. Wouldn’t smaller stadiums equate to a huge hike in prices for tickets and even concessions? Re-sell tickets can already be kinda pricey. I don’t think that’d be particularly great for the average fan.

  8. Football games will just be a place for business to buy luxury suites and no real fans will be there. F1 is trying very hard to go this route, the have 100's of celebrities' walking around that no nothing.
