There should have been a salary cap with limits on how many players can earn his much.
I know she isn't related to Peter Crouch but my god she look like she does, they are like twins.
Football just isnt the same anymore, all these changes is killing the game
Another scheme to make money and make up a shortfall.
4 years too late for Oldham
As long as you do what we say. Take the knee to a criminal.
Keep the government out of football.
I really don’t get why soo many are complaining about this, as footballs on a downwards Sloan at the moment, and if it takes the government to get involved to change that, then I’m all up for it!
As these days the league is just soo predictable with a over half the teams finishing exactly where you expected them to, with the same teams getting Europe, midtable and going down, practically every year over the last few decades (other than the season Leicester won the league and saints came 6th).
As in today’s footballing setup, it’s all about who’s got the money, and it’s becoming more about the glory hunters armchair “fans” that watch it on TV and such, rather than the REAL fans that go and support their local teams, as VAR is made for TV, as so is all the lack of atmosphere that many games are beginning to have, especially with the real fans not being able to afford tickets anymore, due to the ridiculous money involved in the game!
So if the government can actually get something right for once and change this, then fair play to them and hopefully it can set football back on track!
Political Super League
Tbf I like the idea that the tax that will go lower league teams, hopefully prevent administration and hopefully start to balance out the lower leagues and create more competitive football increasing English football across the board
When these recommendations will come to implementation stage then the government will face a lot of obstacles that have to overcome in efficient and effective way..
Good old leeds in the thumbnail haha. MOT
While this is good people need to understand the current model of the pyramid is not sustainable so many teams are just not viable has a business
I think the transfer levy is a good idea, also put limits on transfer funds and wages then we’d be getting somewhere
Lol for breaking rules ? ? ? I Boris is good person to enforce that ? ? is this a joke !!!!!!
Will this apply in Scotland and Wales as well?
All talk just like FFP.
This is called gstekeeping so no small club can challenge through buyouts in the future. Are people really that slow, not to realise whats this truly is? Its taking away other chairs at the high table.
Can someone tell me why they have to go down the tax route? why can they not impose financial disciplines whereby a high percentage of a sale has to go back into the club and not into owners pockets, why do the government have to take even more from a club?
Tory MP's setting up an integrity test for anybody is just a bad joke.
I don’t agree with the one rule when a transfer fee will go to local clubs, this isn’t fair for the club involved
So you're telling me. If Haaland goes to City, Oxford United get some of the tax and we can buy our missing stand….
When some of the richest people on the planet own clubs that play a sport with what ever shape ball. They can swerve anything, Barcelona and Madrid shouldn’t even exist. Newcastle owners sat with a smirk on their face.
So relieved the newcastle takeover went through before this came in otherwise we’d be stuck with Mike Ashley
Anything that makes English football uncompetitive in the global football market should be rejected. These ideas might be helpful but unless other major footballing nations are subject to them, my concern is it would sabotage the Premier League product. Are there similar proposals in countries like Spain and Germany?
MP's in football is a terrible idea. They're making a balls out of running England now they want to ruin football
Weak really, 50/1 rule would’ve been better
No thanks
Anyone else hear the laughter in the background after the words 'integrity test' at 0:15?
Why should Newcastle be subject to the new test? Why don't they do it to all premier league teams instead of soloing them out?
You're man you're the bottom of man my rose
