  1. Consistency is key, because there is just 1 point between them. The run in doesnt matter so much because just one bad game or last minute goal can determine the whole title. Furthemore City might lose to WHU lets say, LFC draws vs Spurs and they both have the same point count and the title might come down to goal difference. Another thing about the run-in – City have just as many matches they might drop points in as Liverpool, the key difference is the April 19th/20th game, which is right after the FA Cup game City vs LFC. It will take a lot of energy for both teams, but Liverpool will have to face Man Utd, while City will play Brighton. If LFC gets over that hurdle, then its pretty much the same run in for both teams, even some of the opponents match – Newcastle, Villa, Wolves. So it will be interesting to compare. City has WHU, LFC face Spurs, relatively similar level of opponents.

So lets look at some of the games City might drop points in:

Newcastle – tough team, will probably mount a resistance.

WHU – at their own stadium they are always a threat, they are fighting for Top 4/Top5 so they will go for the win, most probably could get a draw out of all the teams City will face.

Aston Villa- Gerrard, an LFC legend, will do everything he can and the impossible to get a point at Etihad, one could say its his destiny to fight City and get a point at least and help LFC win the title.

Wolves away, always a tough team, City had problems vs them at home even 11v10 it was a close game, so its not a stretch to say it will be a tight game at Wolves stadium.

Liverpool might drop points as well of course, they have some hard opponents like Utd, Newcastle, Spurs, Villa, Southampton and Wolves.

  2. None of them.any team can beat any other team on there day, that's what's so good about that league,as a Scotsman it's good to watch a league that offers more than just Celtic and rangers winning everything

  3. As a utd fan, I don't care about our rivalry with city or the game that destroyed us 10 years ago this May. Waiting when we beat Fulham 1-0, most of us are wanting City to win. Liverpool are closing wayyyyyy to close to our title wins, Liverpool are literally like 1 or 2 trophies behind so come on City, do it for Manchester.
