1. You know what's funny though, if Darnold comes out in 2022, everyone – except for Chris Simms – would be glamoring over him as the "franchise savior". He would have been a no brainer pick for Carolina. Goes to show that QB is by far the hardest position in all of sport to evaluate, no matter the era of football.

5. 60% pass completion and 2500 yrds are good numbers for the '70s. 9 tds and 13-14 int is not. He needs to improve on both those numbers.

   20 tds and 7-8 interceptions is okay, with the ratio vastly improving. 3500 yds is acceptable. 30 tds is better.

   If he can get to 30 TDS and 3500 yards, then he will be a success.

12. Sam's issue in Carolina was the offensive line. The center Matt Paradis was absolute garbage, and the interior of the o-line was flimsy. If the line is fixed, he might just finally get to show he's competent enough to make hay.
