  1. I tried to watch american football, but its just not for me. I mean, people get into a formation like they are getting ready to do a flashmob, then run like 2 yards, then watch some cheerleaders dance, erectile dysfunction adds, beer adds, insurance adds, truck adds… and then run 1 more yard.

  2. Id argue that rugby is in that same category. Everyone runs the ball and tackles and everyone must do their part for the team to be successful. Id put soccer and hockey in there too.

  3. Baseball is a team sport as well… also soccer. So the only true team sport is going a little too far IMO. It's the best team sport by far, but not the only true team sport.

  4. "Success is not wining all the time, success is knowing you've done anything in your power, from preparation stand of point, focus stand of point, performance stand of point to achieve a win or success. And it won't happen every time." "They''re willing to put everything they have knowing some days they might not be good enough." What a great sharing of wisdom!

  5. As a soccer player and goalkeeper myself I love the fact that he is mentioning that a good goalkeeper can make a huge difference. In every discussion you will hear goalkeepers won‘t get mentioned as often as strikers or midfielders.

  6. If you do not have a QB in football you cannot win a super bowl unless you have two hall of fame defenders. This sport is heavily reliant on a QB as much as baseball is with a pitcher. In baseball you do need depth in your pitching rotation though.

  7. this is what we like to call a garbage take folks. Being more a team sport than professional men's basketball is a criminally low bar. Tell this to any team that hasn't had a QB. Or every wideout that got ignored for a whole game. Football is all about where the ball goes and the ball goes to the quarterback like 100% of the time. The Tampa Bay Lightning just won the Stanley Cup without their 2nd highest paid player (probably 1st highest if you consider cap%). And who won the Super Bowl? the Kansas City Patrick Mahomeses. Look at Pittsburgh last year compared to this year. Basically the same team, except they have a decent QB in the pocket now and instead of starting 0-4 and finishing the season even, they've already won more games than all of last year. And cmon a hot goalie in Soccer? Don't goalies have like on average a .500 save percentage? I love you Aaron, bad take.

  8. I teach my daughters that it’s okay to fail as long as you did your best and you do a little bit better then your best next time. Because failures are what you can learn from and they allow you to become better.

  9. I don't think Lombardi used that phrase literally. He used it as motivation. He also said, "We are going to relentlessly pursue perfection, knowing we will never achieve it. But in doing so, we will achieve greatness." No one is perfect, no team is perfect, but if you put in the work, you will win games and be great. The Lombardi Packers lost ONE championship to the Eagles. After that, Vince said they would never lose another…..and they didn't. Players back then played to win, not for money.

  10. I'll take hockey (out of the 4 major sports) on this topic anyday of the week. Honestly cant believe it was not even mentioned. Other than that, volleyball

  11. In hockey defense plays offense, offense plays defense, no one player wins Stanley cups. A great quarterback is far more valuable to their team than the highest scoring forward in the league. I get that he loves football but not even mentioning hockey is a tad disrespectful when talking about team sports.

  12. I like Rodgers but he ignores the fact his one ring was the result of having a top 5 defense. He never got to the big game without a real defense. Which proves hes not worth it. When a team like the Rams can get there based on their defense.

  13. One thing people are ignoring, Rodgers had a top 5 defense when he won his ring, and he Wasnt eligible for a real contract at that time. After that point he had neither a top 5 defense, and he took top cash. Funny how that trade off Always works out on teams.
