  1. He is just pining for RW to be traded to a team he likes… Strong offer means at least three 1st FR picks AND their best player. And then they can be like the Commanders with no QB.

  2. Pete only cares at this point about his legacy. His succession plan is almost in place now, after recently promoting his son to assistant offensive coordinator, behind-the-scenes with no mention of it other than squeezing it into a larger update on the Seahawks website about coaching changes. There's no way he trade Russell Wilson for anything. At this point you will do anything he can to make Russell happy in hopes of getting him to sign a contract extension and probably moving Waldron into the head coaching position so his son can take over offensive coordinator duties in a couple years

  3. I don’t think Wilson is going anywhere this season and the Seahawks will continue to finish last in the NFC West. Pete Carroll will retire after this year and then they will trade Wilson and rebuild but maybe not what they would have gotten this season with such a poor QB draft class coming out. The Seahawks are not known for their great draft moves recently. I mean, they gave up two first rounders for a safety who cannot cover. ?

  4. The Seattle front office has always said, “we listen to everything.” It’s on page 1 of the program’s manifesto. There’s a .01% chance of it happening but if someone makes them a Herculean offer, they’ll take it.

  5. The Seahawks aren't going to trade Russ to a NFC team period. It's not happening. Not when we all know the Broncos and Steelers would trade every draft pick they have for Russ. It makes zero sense to even entertain trading him within the conference.

  6. Pete and John always say the same thing: we answer the phone no matter what; this doesn't mean they will trade Russ. For anybody listening to this, it is to generate clicks

  7. This didn't get to Russ, and Russ said in public that he didn't want to leave, to the Commanders Tell me how we end up with a top QB unless there is a three-way trade for Watson

  8. We love you Taylor Henicke, you’re our backup and you’re not going anywhere. Even if we had Mahomes you’re our number 2 and we feel safe having you in case anything goes wrong and if we keep Kyle Allen as qb3 we feel really good

  9. Look at all the crying Hawks fans in the comments ??? where there’s smoke there’s fire and these Seahawks fans just think it’s another overcast day in Seattle

  10. I think Russ to the Steelers makes the most sense. Russ gets a proven team with great coach and organization, Mike Tomlinson gets a proven and very mobile QB to finish out his coaching.

  11. “This IS not over!!”= football offseason talking points are hard to come by. I don’t know why I click on football stuff in February after the super bowl I swear it’s all nonsense

  12. I think QB value has been far outpaced by QB contracts. No way a team is going to win a Superbowl with 20%+ of their salary cap tied up on just a QB. Russel Wilson is a good example.

  13. He can get to superbowl quick Russ weak schedule weak division 2 ones an a 2 second round pick an throw in Montez Sweat or Daron pain can't have both ?
