Watch the Football! ⚽ | That Mitchell and Webb Look – BBC

Watch the BBC first on iPlayer ? A sports pundit gives a vitriolic rant about football and why we should all watch it in this spoof advert.

David Mitchell and Robert Webb score a goal with a second series of their distinctively daft BAFTA-winning comedy, That Mitchell And Webb Look on BBC Two. There’s a chance to learn the ancient art of padlock folding or Padlockigami. A man gets a little too excited about football. There’s a staffing problem in an innuendo-ridden 70s hospital. Sir Digby Chicken Caesar goes on another rip-roaring adventure. And some stone-age technophobes are sceptical about bronze.

  1. I wonder if since foot ball became popular….what math is for… has there been a moment when it has not been kicked by someone on the planet? Someone playing at all times somewhere?

  2. In the States, we even have the saying, "Wait 'till next year!" because no matter how all-powerful a team looks winning the World Series, it will all start over next April. – ICYMI, professional baseball in North America is played from April to October, and so "baseball season" is literally half the year.

  3. I cannot stand football but love motor racing like F1.I can understand why people don’t like f1 but footie fans can’t seem to understand why i don’t like football ??‍♂️
