  1. That’s a smart move, because Russ us a smart guy. He wants a dynamic uptempo offense. He’s not against the run; he just wants a more dynamic running style instead of ground-and-pound, keep the scores low, play defense, and rely on Russ to be a magician when the team is behind due to Pete’s bad play-calling.

Pete’s problem was that he wanted Russ around to make Pete look good.

  2. As a Seahawks fan and watching Every game Russ has played..It's like this. Russ believes he's something he's not. He believes he's a Rogers..or Brady…or Mahomes.. in the right circumstance he's better than any of those guys. Russ needs a running game period. If he has a running game..His play action is the best in the league… But Russ wants to do what Russ wants to do. If he drops back and throws it all over the place which he believes he can do that. He's avg at best. Russ in a game manager. And there's nothing wrong with that.. but Russ is more worried about his legacy than he is anything else? and that's going to cost the broncos. We watched Russ Cook 2 years ago he was okay for a bit but once they figured out how to play him he threw interception after interception after interception. Pete had to put a stop to it. Russ's ego will be his downfall. Plus Bronco fans he's gonna cost you 50 million a season after this next year.. go back and watch the Seahawks last two games of the season when Penny ran all over the yard Russ was unbelievable. Then go back and look at the games where they had 20 yards rushing for the game or 25 yards rushing and see how Russ was below average.. did broncos can run the ball they could win it all if Russ doesn't get out of his own head there'll be a third place team in their division.

  3. the fact that this is even a discussion that was had is why so many young quarterbacks fail not because talent or ability not because the NFL is that much harder then top level college football its because we have to many coaches that force a system on someone that you play this way or your just bad any good coach plays to his players strengths

  4. I understand the excitement over having a new qb and Russel Wilson but just understand this is post prime Russel Wilson. He can still throw a nice ball but he's also going to go down a lot in the backfield because his scrambling ability is rapidly declining and he needs that to find his receivers.

  5. Too bad our former coaching staff were too dense to build around Drew Lock's likes/abilities. LIKE MOVING THE DANG BALL DOWNFIELD, and actually use the kickers once in awhile.

  6. Not sure I agree with the notion the Seahawks didn’t treat Wilson like a franchise QB. They just treated him the a franchise QB used to be treated 20+ years ago, which is around the time Pete stopped learning and growing as a coach, lol.
