Every team had injuries, you can’t blame bottling the league on two players. They had putrid results when it truly mattered starting with 2-2 Liverpool
Bottled it like they have for years upon years typical arsenal
With Saliba they ain't fumbling the 2 leads vs Liverpool and West ham. Get that Garry, flipin me 😂😂😂
I still wonder why people will talk about a single player being absent and a full team gets destabilized. Arsenal team isn’t strong in-depth that’s just the explanation. Saliba may have been in the team at this point and be having his own lapses. He may even have scored 3 own goals (Maybe). You all sound like Arsenal would have won the league long ago if Saliba wasn’t injured.
Check the City defense towards the end of last season. Almost all of the back line had an injury. Laporte played the last match with an injury just because his own injury was less intense than the others.
Walker tried to do same and was stretched out in the first half in one of the matches
So Arsenal need Saliba to win? Without him they struggle baldy or/and can’t win? Cmon really? Southampton are relegated by the way…..
Not only Saliba missing. Saka, Ben White and Partey all haven’t turned up when it really mattered.
Agree with Gary unfortunately.
Saliba is a big miss but they collapsed because they haven’t got a backbone. Said it back in December, a bad 1 or 2 games when the pressures on, they will crumble. Since Xhaka decided to kick off at Anfield, it went.
Fyuckface Neville an expert in hindsight.
Richards is absolutely right 👍🏽
So basically saliba would’ve single handedly kept every goal out, have a day off 😂
haha that camera switch at 2:53 is priceless
Agree with both, losing a leader does not help but also Arsenal should have been able to win against west ham and Southampton with a rotated team, but again as Richard’s said it’s 16-18 world class players you need. City are a fantastic team but it’s more than a starting 11, it’s that ability to rotate to rest or allow for injury and not drop performance
Don't really like Neville but his spot on about having a spine. Arsenal don't have one yet.
Gary is right
Saliba gives the rest of the team, especially White and Saka, confidence to go forward because they know he is capable of handling things calmly on his own. Also he takes the ball anywhere and plays out from the back, whereas Holding etc don't have that confidence or ability and will Instead opt to kick the ball out of play or just clear it up the pitch in situations where Saliba would have taken a touch and made a pass. Salibas absence definitely affects how the whole team plays.
Gary makes a point then disagrees with himself with Micah 😂😂
Man I can listen to Gary Neville all day.. wat a man
Neville's ability to gaslight Arsenal fans is unparalleled😂
Holding coming in killed the spines composure. Since West ham Southampton that's when it was city's league.
Saliba's absence definitly hampered Arsenal's title charge BUT when you have single digit left games you do not capitulate that way and win 2 out of 7!
If Arsenal beat West Ham and Southampton they would been level going into yesterday's game, its quite reasonable that having your best overall defender could change those two into wins.
95 points. That's what takes to win the epl this season. A feat mr neville you never even were close to. So none of you actually know what it's like to battle that "well oiled machine" called man city.
