Tunnel Vision host Ryan Abraham chats with USC’s director of football sports performance Bennie Wylie talking about his role as the team’s strength and conditioning coach and how the players have been performing this summer.
Wylie comes to USC after spending four years with Lincoln Riley at Oklahoma, but he and Riley have a much longer history than that. Back in 2002 when Wylie was Texas Tech’s head strength and conditioning coach, Riley was walk-on quarterback on the team (and former USC offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury was the starting QB). Wylie talked about following Riley from Norman to Los Angeles and how that transition has been for him.
He also gets into how some of the players have been developing including the pure strength of offensive lineman Andrew Vorhees and insight into how linebacker Solomon Tuliaupupu has transformed his body, putting on weight and muscle these past 7 months. Plus he discusses popular trends in the collegiate strength and conditioning world, the role facilities play in him doing his job and his competitive workout competitions with Riley.

Excellent interview! I'm just so impressed with this staff. No taking away from previous coaches, but wow.
I liked the mention of the word "culture".
USC has a good example right outside it's front door, the Rams.
Bennie Wylie's is an extremely accomplished professional . Great to have him on Lincoln Riley's USC coaching staff !!
Coach Wylie is legit, great addition to the coaching staff✌?
He coaches from being an example, and his insight on the NIL shows his spectrum of views from multi angles
