  1. What a bad move for LA.

That perennial sicknote wage thief is here in LA for the sun, to play golf 4 times a week, to train with a professional team only when he feels like it (yet nothing more than a few stretches followed by a massage) and to do so while collecting a big paycheck from MLS fans. He will be injured 50% of the time, play less than 50% of their games and yet – remain fully fit for Wales.

And I bet anyone here $100 he is injured in LA (most likely during a 10 day East Coast Road Swing) but fully fit for the World Cup. Another $100 bets he doesn't miss a single game for Wales after missing multiple games for LAFC.

Gareth has been a wage thief who takes the p*ss for years now. More massages than training sessions and more golf rounds than matches played.

Which is why every single Madrista has hated him for it. He is a wage thief on over $1m per week and they ironically – got sick of it.

  2. Had to laugh at the Bale to Cardiff City never was going to happen for one he would of had to take a massive pay cut I know he has made lots of money sat on the bench at Real Madrid also there would of been a few centre Half's in the championship licking there lips at getting at him also a lot more Golf courses out in Los Angeles and the weather a lot better plus the football is where old footballer's go to earn there last big pay day not Cardiff City ???

  3. people are thinking Bale is going there for easy life and easy money….NO! Look at Wale's group in the WC….USA are there…He will use these months picking up vital info on the USA team and having an insider view….he's spying for Wales….it's a clever move.

  4. Typical Bale. Never really lived up to the hype because he chased money over everything else. Even now when he finally had the chance to return to Cardiff where it all started for him at the last moment he's gone "Oh wait … tons of cash. I'll take that thanks" such a waste. I hate to say it but now days British talent have an ego far above their ability.

  5. My prediction here is he won’t finish the season there and he’ll retire. He’s had one foot out the door for a while now and I think he’ll be happy with a relatively early retirement. He’s won everything and made a fortune which makes it harder to get motivated I reckon.

  6. I can see why Gareth has chose America, keeping fit and importantly injury free ,would have been great for Cardiff to sign him but in that league he would get kicked up in the air ..

  7. Seems to be a perfect place for him… sunshine, lots of golf course, a huge pension pay day, virtually semi retired and they speak a version of the language he understands ?

  9. Only an American football club would think Gareth bale in a good signing, paying a rediculous wage for someone with a shocking attitude who's only there for the golf courses and paycheck. Be lucky if they get 10 matches and 3 goals out of him
