United have 6 CB (Jones, Bailly, Lindelof, Maguire, Varane, Tuanzabe) and 6 Attacking players ( Ronaldo, Fernandes, Martial, Elanga, Rashford, Sancho with Amad, Pellestri and Ganacho) and whole bunch of mids (Mactominay, Fred, Van De Beek, and returning Pereira, Gardner along with Hanibal). There is no desperate need in attacking players. The talent is there in attacking, it has to be unlocked. Heads and Bodies need to be strengthened and straightened. In mid field there is a need for quality upgrades so the emphasis on bringing in mids is warranted. To me, that also applies to the defense. There are way too many underqualified CB on the team. I would focus on getting rid of at least 2 or 3 of the CB's and bringing in more quality (which is out there) than on attacking. City, Liverpool and Chelsea are way ahead defensively of United. We all like to look at the offensive output for those teams and the stats from last year do show United far behind in Goals. But to me, United need a title contenting defense and that's not going to happen with the current batch. They really do need another quality starter to go with Varane and it's not Maguire nor Lindelof. United are better off with those two as backups. As far away as United were from the top three in goals scored they were exponentially further away in Goals allow and clean sheets. Priority should be midfield, Defense then perhaps offense. People capable of scoring goals are on their squad, people capable of defending…….
    are not.

About Henderson the reasoning is obvious and it's not wrong he's young he can still become MU first gk if he performs well on loan. selling De Gea after his good performance this year would have made no sense especially if you think about the fact MU transfer market is already very complicated as it is. the reasoning about a new defender is sound too they can't buy a new CB if they don't sell someone first since they already have 5 CBs. this is reality not FIFA.
