Juventus are hopeful they will agree the final details of Paul Pogba’s return to the club today, according to Sky in Italy.

Club chiefs will meet Pogba’s representative Rafaela Pimenta on Thursday and are expected to discuss the length of his potential contract – a four-year deal or three-year deal with option of a further year.

Provided a deal is agreed, the former Manchester United midfielder is expected to arrive in Turin between July 5 and 8 to undergo a medical and sign the contract.

Juventus are also waiting to hear back from Angel Di Maria after they offered him a one-year deal, with option for a further year, after he left Paris Saint-Germain upon the expiry of his contract.

  1. I wouldnt even have this diddy in a Sunday league team! Arrogant waste of money…..SAF was right all they years ago to let him go…..Mourinho was right to lay into him and drop him. Sack of a guy!!

  2. Why has Pogba been a failure? Was Pogba the sole reason why United failed? No. Pogba G/A was better than 1 in 3, which is impressive for a player that plays deep in midfield. United failed because they’ve failed to strengthen keys positions when needed like defence, attack etc.

When Real Madrid signed the World Record signing in Ronaldo, did they stop there? They Bought Kroos, Modric, Kaka, Bale; they were unrelenting.

United did spend but bought poorly, and Pogba isn’t one of them considering his record and stats, in fact he over performed, that’s especially true when you compare him with his teammates.

Football is a team sport not an individualistic one.
