2. Florio and Peter King are a pair of serious Browns haters! Simms at least seems objective. What we need here is for the NFL to crap or get off the pot with respect to handing down the Watson discipline. To say they're dragging this out would be an understatement of the highest magnitude.

   The Browns and their qb situation. Qbs in their 4th or 5th year on their respective teams that haven't really done anything in the league.

    But without Watson, just don't see how the Browns can keep pace with higher octane offenses: KC, Buffalo, Cinn, LAC, Raiders.. plus really complete teams like Tenn & Indy. Browns are barely top 10 in the league without Watson.

23. Well or injured, Baker Mayfield is not very good. I'll take DeShawn Watson for half a season vs Baker Mayfield for an entire season.

25. Best thing for the Browns AND Baker is for Baker to play the first 6/8 games (during Watson's likely suspension), and then Baker plays well enough for another team to want him. Then the Browns trade him midseason. Baker will have those 6/8 games to showcase his talent and improved personality. People forget that Baker screwed up too by putting up a full season (2021) on tape where he stunk. Injury was to his non-playing shoulder.

26. I think there’s a chance the Browns could implode. It really depends upon how long Watson is suspended and how well — or poorly — that Baker Mayfield plays. I’m assuming, of course, that the Browns keep Mayfield as insurance. But there could be a real division on this team. Not that I like to talk racial conflict — I try to avoid it because I think it’s stupid — but the fact that Baker is white and Deshaun is black might drive a wedge between players in the locker room. It just depends upon how professional the players are on the Browns.

32. The special teams rated overall 30/32 in nfl (bottom 10%), the defense could not stop anyone the first half of season, and they had 3rd string tackles playing on 0-line. They ain't that close to SB.

33. Running quarterbacks have low IQs. Watson is in this ridiculous mess, because has a low IQ and couldn't handle success.

34. I must disagree with Mr. Clowney, the Browns will be better in 2022 but certainly not close enough to visit Arizona.
