I appreciate your analysis, I really do. However:
I don't know anybody that would rather have a 'pretty' loss over a messy win. Nobody. The Faithful are well aware of the shortcomings and have acknowledged it time and time again on these postings. Still Faithful tho, sorry Dude…GO NINERS. Win ugly in Green Bay if you must.

League average interception percentage per pass attempt is 2.3%. Jimmy is 4.9% in the playoffs.

it's not the cowboys effort that made the game close at the end. It's Jimmy G. What a load of BS. Did anyone see some of the outrageous passes he completed. "Another QB" ;Is going to make the niners better? asinine. Tell that to the Jets. the panthers. the bears. the broncos. etc etc etc. these two guys are awful. gee, Jimmy G isn't perfect! oh my gosh! you mean all he ever does is win? that's not good enough when everybody gets compared to the two or three first ballot hall of fame QB's. fug off on Jimmy G bashing. He is a very good QB with the best winning record in the NFL in his career thus far. Love you Jimmy. Simms is a frustrated third string QB who couldn't hold a match to Jimmy and the other fella, well, i refuse to call him an idiot.
