Pete Carroll: Drew Lock would’ve been first QB in 2022 NFL Draft | Pro Football Talk | NBC Sports
Noticias de Fútbol – Diario de Noticias de Navarra Camisetas ALEMANIA
People saying a bust would be the first qb taken ?
Yea y’all gotta stop listening to the people
Pete Carroll isn’t a QB whisperer. He has never developed any QB. Drew Lock needs development. Besides, it doesn’t say much that Lock would have been #1 in a weak QB draft.
I don’t know if anyone has noticed but Ryan Tannehill is a free agent? Say what you want but Tannehill has won his division last 3 years in a row. A few divisional championship games and a winning record! More than I can say for Aaron Rogers, DAK, All AFC QBs except Mahomes! Ryan would be an incredible asset to Steelers & 49ers especially! All NFL Teams are playing chicken until June 1st?
Pete is hustling ??? he knows Levi Lewis is gonna beat everyone out or kill preseason so tough that there will be pressure to make him the starter. They not worried
Lock will beat out smith
Pete is terrible at picking QBs he got lucky with Wilson
Pete Carroll is right, some of these media guys have short term memories.
I mean…to take any kid with Nfl experience back in college…ya know. He likes Lock, we get it. I think he can be a Baker Mayfield level player. Except their the same age. So why wouldn't you just trade for Baker. Lock was in Denver where the air makes throws go harder. He still underthrew alot…alot of WRs
Drew Lock and Zach Wilson may be the same person
Justin Fields would of imo.
Can’t wait till Pickett lights it up lock is a bust
I don't think Seattle is worried about having just an NFL average QB. We are going to see defense and ground & pound again.
I don't think he is wrong. Heck, the rest of the NFL doesn't either by how late the top QB's went this year.
Mike Florio has that passive aggressive attitude about him, funny if he didn't think he was right all the time
He is right but it doesn't matter. We have enough data to know you can't build around him. We don't know that about the upcoming qbs

As a Broncos fan, gotta wish Drew nothing but the best. The talent is there but his development was completely derailed by Fangio never wanting him and firing Scangarello in favor of Pat Shurmur after Drew’s rookie year. Drew didn’t make the most of his own opportunities but the guy has heart and has the ability to be a starter.
Pathetic comment by a mediocre coach.
2023 crop of QBs are elite. Seattle is competing for one of those guys in the 2023 draft.
How many first round QBs have won a Super Bowl in the last 20 or so years? The Manning's and Stafford are the only ones that immediately come to mind.
