  1. If it is played over and Cincinnati does not score a touchdown but kicks the field goal instead then at the end of the game the Raiders only need a field goal to tie. They were on the 7 yard line so instead of coming up short on 4th down they kick the tying field goal to send it into overtime.

  2. You know the 1 thing that nobody has brought up is,what if the Raiders intercepted the pass???would they of given us the ball at the 20,Or would they have chose to REPLAY the down,I AM 100% positive that they would of chose to REPLAY the down,So next question is WHY the NFL'S OFFICIALS ALL ACT THIS WAY TOWARDS AN NFL FRANCHISE???Who is responsible for the mistreatment??Is IT the officials or is IT GOODELL??

  3. Too much of this insurance officiating, if he had of dropped the ball, they would have said whistle was blown, but if he catches it let it go, its a pattern in too many games.

  4. You need to practice your body language assessment #25 indeed hesitated but forget this for a minute how do you know that he was thinking ? hmmmm the whistle was blown bcs the quarterback was out of bounds no you have no idea what he was thinking most players don’t act a fool on the field they just go fwd so if you were expecting him to point & jump up & down yelling he blew the whistle I think that doesn’t always happen bottom line is this was just another bull crap nonsense coming out of the NFL office

  5. It's always been obvious that whistle blows = play is DEAD… for obvious reasons it is a good rule, doesnt need to be changed either. This specific situation sucked, but if you open this rule to interpretation you go down a super deep rabbit hole where the whistle itself has less meaning and that can effect the safety of the players as well as the games

  6. They don't even understand the ruling. The ruling on the field was the whistle came after the catch. That decision isn't reviewable. The rule is applied appropriately. The judgement it happened after the catch was incorrect but not reviewable

  7. The refs were wrong either way! If they would have replayed the play then the refs would have screwed the Bengals out of a legit TD! Bottom line the refs have been garbage all season

  8. The Raiders are always involved with terrible calls like these…the game could've ended differently without that TD but oh well, the refs just being the worst as usual. So many plays that the Raiders got screwed over with, the Offense PI om chase that wasn't called and the Renfrow catch and fumble that was called back.

  9. In order for the rule to be enforced someone critical to the play has to hear the fricking whistle and have a adverse reaction… no one heard the whsitle and no one had a adverse recation…the officials got the play right.

  10. Whether the words fit the moment or not, I cannot help but recall Jon Gruden's locker room comment after the January 2002 "tuck rule" game, "They're never going to let the Raiders win.'"

  11. The refs initially lied about the erroneous whistle.Saying it wasn’t blown until after the play. Stinks of corruption. It was insulting to the intelligence of millions.

  12. This is a perfect play for pundits, we will hear about this for ten years. Here is my thought, it’s a fraction of a second and the ball is caught as the sound ended so the refs were right. The whistle blow is measured as the end of the noise so who cares. How many times have we heard a ref blow a few times to get a play stopped? It’s as nuts as basketball measuring tens of a second at the end of a game, sports are not that precise. Let the players play and stop this nonsense.

  13. At least now we can stop hearing about the tuck rule. Raiders fans now have a new thing to cry about for the next few decades. Who dey! I agree the play should have been replayed. But what the heck it’s been 31 years.
