  1. The real thing is the game is about money they put allot of money on Murray the second quarter the coaches should have benched him to save the teams spirit and drive. Murray falling apart and then threw a pick six takes the team down but the owners and his manager didn’t want him benched because Murray’s trade and stock value go down. This is the problems with the nfl it’s about the high paid players choke and not getting traded of benched for money value. Plus allot of these guys once the get the big money don’t preform as good as their rookie year now it’s about protecting their value put up big numbers to keep the contract but look good to get traded to make more.

  2. Christian Kirk and Moore was a dumb pick. Don’t get me wrong they are good players but that’s not what the cards needed. We needed a corner and skipped Christian Kirk and got a different WR. Kirk is too small

  3. Warner is greatest player in NFL history for what he did with sad sack cardinals. He dragged that franchise kicking and screaming to the Super Bowl. Fitzgerald if he was a true competitor would have left to win a Super Bowl. He was typical Bidwill in that he really didnt care except what he himself did.

  4. The problem is a 5' 10" QB that is increasingly afraid to use his feet. If you don't have feet, you need height. Just as simple as that. I don't think Kingsbury is the problem.

  5. On the one hand there have been late season collapses. On the other hand they have improved steadily each year with their overall record.

And I would also say that Kyler Murray's God awful play down the stretch bears criticism as well not all on Kliff.

I think you give them one more year. If they're able to continue and take the next step that means they go on a deep playoff run. And if that happens then most likely the coaching quarterback will have proved themselves.

If however they regress next year, or it's another first round blowout, then you have more grounds to say it's time once again to move on.

The other Factor here is that teams don't want to become a coaching carousel. it's a bad place to be

  6. Kingsbury is a cold fish, look at him on the sideline, he barely blinks. And Kyler just pouts when things go badly, it doesn't MOTIVATE him. One of these two has to be energetic and emotionally invested in winning. Teams that fade in the latter half of the season (or the playoffs) have no second gear and if you can't step on the gas you get PASSED by teams that can.

  7. The Cardinals got out coached. The Cowboys got out coached. Years and years of coaching experience and when it's playoff time, they can't figure out the other team. It seems that there are very few coaches that actually study the game.

  8. The Arizona Cardinals are the Chicago Cubs of the NFL. They have been around longer than the league itself which makes them one of the original teams when the league began operations in 1920 (when they were known as the Chicago Cardinals). And yet in their 102-year history, the Cardinals have only won two league championships (1925 & 1947 and their first championship is considered controversial). Two championships in 102 years and the last one was 74 years ago. Even the Detroit Lions have a better record than that!

  9. Classic case of good defenses catching up to something new. Murray is being exposed. Once you get to the playoffs, good teams will take away the quarterback run and force him to beat them with their arm. Murray is not there yet and may never get there. He is a tough dude but he's small and fragile and every year he gets a wee bit slower. I expect Arizona to take a step backwards next season.
