  1. Mike Shanahan = Kyle Shanahan. Everyone knows what he will do because he is the same as his father, and that system has been around forever. It is why he is under .500. His father wore it out.

  2. Bruce Arians is a genius because he doesn’t get in the way. He doesn’t have an ego, so he allows the best people in the world to do their jobs. Do you know how many coaches like Mcyay Meddle and screw up their coordinators because they micromanage? He could’ve stifled Brady last year making him go bombs away but instead he listens to him when Brady said the offense wasn’t working.

  3. Vrabel to me is clearly the coach of the year. He has had 93 players with serious injury. And he got the one seed? Omg that is all-time all-time great. And guess what after the Cardinals blew them out they had the lowest odds in the world of making it to the Super Bowl and I put 20 bucks on it baby.

  4. Shanahan‘s biggest weakness is not his quarterback scouting. It’s him getting too cute as a play caller. It’s losing a 28 to 3 lead or allowing Patrick Mahomes to come back because you have to prove to everyone how smart you are. He gives a massive leads doing stupid things. Kyle Shanahan is The best at play design, he also has a massive ego or chip on his shoulder I can’t tell which.
If Mike Shanahan had a guy like Bill Belichick who would keep him in line, he would literally be the best of all time

  5. I really don’t think Arians is a great coach. I think he’s average. I think his scheme has had a tendency to get QBs hurt and hit a lot. Which obviously Brady has taken the offense over.

  6. Let's be real here, there will never be a scenario where Simms says anyone is a better coach than Shanahan as the two are best friends. Shanahan may be a better offensive playcaller but I think as a manager of a team, LaFleur has shown to be better. Additionally, people forget that Shanahan gets in his own way most of the time because he does not trust certain players and that can end up hurting them as it completely can change his playcalls and gameplan. LaFleur is almost the opposite, he tends to trusts his players to a fault at times but occasionally he doesn't. The one noticeable time he didn't trust them was in the NFC Championship game last year in the 4th quarter. Since then, he has trusted his players fully and it seems to have worked out. No one gives LaFleur any credit as a head coach, let alone playcaller, and it makes no sense. Yes he has Rodgers but it takes two to tango and Rodgers has been vastly better with LaFleur than he was his last few seasons with McCarthy.

Additionally, Simms can say he likes LaFleur but he consistently does not give him the same respect or reverence when he compares him to Shanahan or McVay. Based on what I've seen, I don't think Shanahan would be as successful with in Green Bay with Rodgers as LaFleur has been because Shanahan will not change or bend his system. he seems to be very stubborn that way. LaFleur completely changed his system and made it a hybrid of the Shanahan/true west coast offense system once he got to Green Bay. LaFleur's adaptability is massive and doesn't get enough credit. And in the same reign, Shanahan's stubbornness and rigidness does not criticized enough.

  7. Hilarious when Florio talks about things he has no clue. "Every waking minute" preparing for a big game? Using his VAST experience as a coordinator allows him to speak on this… or not. Who says there's no comedy in sports talk??

  8. Just because the niners coach can draw up good game plans don't make him better than my packers coach and the last time I checked my packers coach out coached the niners coach
