  1. Meyer was accustomed to being the absolute dictator at the University. It was obvious he answered to anyone for his behavior and treated players and assistant coaches like trash. He was completely tone deaf to the differences at the pro level. The foolish mustache Khan is to blame for this disaster.

  2. Urb talked to Jimmy Johnson about the modern NFL? Like that’s a good thing? Jimmy hasn’t coached since the 90s. The game, the CBA, the players have all changed.

What a dumb statement by Peter King.

  3. Shad Khan is a moron. Forget Urban. All college coaches are more salesman than coach. They're used to be worshipped, dictatorial, unaccountable and a guy like Shad and his son are the perfect foils. The world is filled with dupers and dupees. The Khans are duppees.

  4. But MR KHAN a minority of different race is a racist himself, he does not give any African American any chances that he has given to a lot of white people, you cannot allow him to hide under the MINORITY LABEL, he needs to be exposed for who he really is.

  5. I am not pro or con Urban Myer…I do know he had tremendous success running his offense at Utah, Florida and Ohio State. He obviously made a couple poor decisions, but it really bothers me to have the sports media pick at him like he is a dead buffalo and they are buzzards. Both these clowns called him a liar here. My take is it is extremely difficult to do anything but lose when your "generational talent" rookie QB plays like crap. I think Trevor Lawrence deserves some criticism for just not being very good in his rookie year when all the sports media talking heads were telling us he was the next coming of Andrew Luck or Dan Marino. Had Trevor looked like either in his Rookie year Urban would still be the head coach.

  6. Maybe Shad Kahn didn’t ask UM the right questions because SK doesn’t know a lot about football or the day to day of an NFL franchise. Maybe that’s why teams have GMs and front offices do interviews instead of the owner on his yacht. I mean, Jerry Jones arguably does know about football and the NFL and I’d say he has a mediocre hiring record at best.

  7. Meyer's story and his personal nonsense will fill an entire chapter in a mental health diagnosis book. A Parakeet or Chimpanzee could not be as ignorant as Meyer.

  8. This guy is a dirtbag. He always has been. Everywhere he goes is shrouded in scandal and troublesome trends. He was successful in Florida but that team was a shitshow. TWENTY NINE arrests during his tenure.

  9. Everyone complains about Jim Harbaugh, and Jim Harbaugh wins everywhere he coaches. The Vikings are making a mistake in not hiring him, just as the 49ers made a mistake in firing him because the egos at the top of the organization couldn't co-exist. Sometimes it's just too simple. Hire a winning coach like Harbaugh and your team will win. Yes, he'll be a prick in press conferences and, yes, some of the players and staff will burn out. But you would think at some point the Vikings would get interested in winning. Don't get this.

  10. Considering that Nick Saban couldn't make the jump, you'd think he could have made a 10 minute call and see why the goat college coach was a .500 coach in the pros.

  11. You can’t rewrite what we saw on the field with the Jaguars. This is a prime case when an experienced NFL black offensive coordinator/coach would have made a great head coach for their rookie quarterback to learn under instead of this college coach that had no idea what he was getting into, no matter how good of a college coach he was.

  12. Shahid Khan hiring Urban Meyer as the Jaguars Coach is bad as his son Tony hiring Young Bucks, Kenny Omega, and Cody Rhodes as his EVPs for this wrestling promotion. AEW and Jacksonville Jaguars are two dumpster fires.

  13. Urban is going to go down as the worst coach of all time. He said himself that his main responsibility in NCAA was recruiting and he still thought he was gonna come in and lead men to victory. Hubris and ineptitude.

  14. Don't believe anything that Meyer says. I have watched interviews where he says he did not know anything about the problems that Aaron Hernandez had at the University of Florida. He said in an interview in the last few years he was never aware of the bar incident where Hernandez assaulted a server/bartender even though Hernandez was there with Tim Tebow. The incident made it to ESPN, everybody knew at the time because of Tebow. That is just one example of him "rewriting" history. Meyer was just surprised that everyone was not kissing his rear because he is Urban Meyer.
