  1. Gary Neville is spot on . Jamie Carragher is just jealous he never won a treble. How can you drop Scholes for Gundogan and Grealish for Giggs!!!

  2. What’s fascinating about football under Guardiola is that Stones, Aké and Akanji have all had better seasons than Dias but because the system at City is so fluid at the back, they don’t get recognised to the same extent as Dias when picking a 442 system

  3. We won the league that year with only 79 points though. The level of character in players and teams has diminished over the years for certain, but the quality of the football, both technically and tactically is of a far higher standard than that of 1999.

  4. Paul Scholes

Never won a single individual award

He also never recorded one top 10 finish in the voting for the Ballon o’Or

He was literally the most overrated player ever

  5. The large points totals is down to bloated squads. It's happened across Europe that teams run away with leagues more or dominate with large points totals. Talent hogging from the super rich makes consistency week to week easier if you're the best in form. Impossible to compare to previous eras. United in '99 were renowned for their depth at striker (even though Sheringham had a very poor season) but that squad only had three central midfielders. Different times.

  6. What the hell is Sky doing this now? City ain't won anything (yet)..well done Gary for putting up the real treble team at the start of this! Talk about being presumptuous.

  7. Jamie has been coming out with some absurd opinions recently, I’m not sure if it’s him being biased, jealous or just uneducated on certain things.. With him being on such a high platform in being one of sky sports most top pundits he needs to improve & soon..
